The winner of last night is Michael Bloomberg

1) The 2020 Iowa Caucus will forever go down as a farce and even when the results are out they lose credibility.

2) There is no momentum to get for whoever comes first now. With the State of the Union and the Impeachment vote, Iowa will slip to the back of the media narrative.

3) Everyone else moves onto New Hampshire which is another unrepresentative state of the democratic electorate at large while Bloomberg keeps ploughing away in the Super Tuesday states with more delegates and more to win.

4) Joe Biden is likely to come fourth at best.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

because he would be getting killed in the media right now and it would have been the beginning of the end

I think he finished in a distance 4th place.

I feel bad for Bernie & Pete. They did their jobs - worked their butts off and most likely they got 1st & 2nd place and do not get any momentum from last night.

The biggest loser is going to be Pete. He needed this more than Sanders and Iowa probably cost him any chance of winning the nomination.

...how someone in Iowa predicts what we in the PNW will do? Lots of time for everyone to mess up yet.

The only “Loser” from my perspective is Iowa and they should “Lose” the right to being the first and be removed from that in future elections.

Nothing should be interpreted out of this farce exercise called the Iowa caucus and each of the candidates should be focused on the other primaries ahead.

Who will get the nomination won’t be known in my opinion until at least after the March Primary and Super Tuesday.

Time for all the candidates for the Democratic nomination for Presidential Candidate to be focused on defeating IMPotus Trump and the corrupt GOP and campaigning for those primaries - Iowa is over.

Oh yeah - and candidates for the Democratic nomination shouldn’t have their campaigns attacking other Democratic candidates.

4. Agree that Bloomberg is looking better and better in this wild field...

Not because of policies necessarily, but just because he isn't part of the Dem primary shit show we keep seeing. I'm really discouraged by this group and though Biden is my top choice, I worry the Ukraine damage has already been done by planting that seed of doubt.

Denying this will not change the reality. Thankfully, Bernie is there to take the top spot and lead Democrats to victory in the Fall!! GO BERNIE!!

Bernie/Elizabeth or Elizabeth/Bernie 2020!!
Either way, they're stronger together & can't be bought!!
Jump on the Bernie Bandwagon & join The Revolution!!

As IA is BS's demographic paradise, lacking a commanding and decisive takeaway from last night, he'll falter more than his anemic campaign has already. Pretending otherwise is absurd and irrational.

The chances of a contested convention just rose quite a bit.

I don't see him being the selection of a contested convention given his baggage, outsider status, and unorthodox election strategy.

Mayor Pete is expected to have a stronger than projected result as well, and if he stays in this it further dilutes the centerist block

Look at the experts (such as Silver and 538). Bloomberg can't even break out of the All Others category on their model.

Joe Biden
