Joe BidenCongratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!

Just count the paper ballots...

Make a record of it.

Call in the results.

Put them in the computer.

How difficult can that be?

Stop the horsetrading. It makes it impossible to get an accurate count. If only 3 or 4 people show up for a candidate, give him credit for those, even if it doesn't equal the 15% or whatever is required. When it is all totaled up, there would be a more accurate record.

But when one group can persuade a smaller group to vote with them, that doesn't create an accurate picture, in my opinion.

2. There's a lot going on

It's much more complex than just counting the votes, it's best to trust the Democratic Party and focus on what you can do to help (unless you're happy with Trump)

3. There are some other issues.

The second alignments may not have been done properly in some cases. That will be harder to correct for.

4. Why have "second alignments"?

Sounds like a recipe for disaster?

7. I fear that is the real problem

What if you can't get from the first counts to the second counts by following the rules? The program might have been rejecting the inconsistent input data. If so, this is an even bigger CF.

5. You don't now if they have the paper ballots...and since they wrote different things on these

ballots, I doubt very seriously you can tell anything...look Iowa sucks and shouldn't go first...because it is a caucus. I was watching last night...so few people participate it doesn't even tell you about the state of Iowa much less the entire race....on guy said 'oh we have a big crowd of 200. Are you kidding me? Closed primaries is the way to go.

6. I agree with you on the caucuses.

They do not get an accurate count, in my opinion.

No paper ballots? Why not?

It is much more expensive to have a primary.

8. We have had a fool proof system in place for years that everyone relies on each and every day

We count all the money spent and moved around in countless ways through countless means.
If we can count the money at every single moment we can surely count the votes every few years.
The fact that we can't, or won't, causes me great concern as to the accuracy of any voting system.
