Bernie clearly won the debate...

...Bernie was clear, strong and concise...take a look

Vox, 2-7-2020

" Bernie Sanders showed us he’s a very skilled politician "

" Sen. Bernie Sanders is a highly skilled politician, and at Friday night’s debate he showed it.

The Democratic Party is polarized right now between Bernie fans who insist that democratic socialism is the way forward and an establishment that’s terrified Sanders will bring electoral doom. The truth, however, is a bit more boring. Far-left politics isn’t really a winning hand, but Sanders himself is an effective player who consistently outperforms the partisan fundamentals in his races.

Those talents were on display Friday evening at the New Hampshire debate, where he stayed relentlessly on message, emphasized the popular aspects of his agenda, and avoided major pitfalls. As long as he can avoid the trap of believing too much of his own hype, he has the ability to craft a winning message for November. "

1. Baloney.

I thought all of the candidates had a great night by discussing many different issues and their positions.

3. Bernie went into his endless loop no matter what the question was.

I did find him less abrasive in this debate than the others, if that’s what you call winning.

10. Yes, he was less abrasive,

but I know what you me about his "endless loop". I've seen him do this before in debates. When he is asked a question, he reverts to giving his stump speech, often not even answering the question. We've all heard the stump speech over and over again, it is getting pretty stale. Often, I involuntarily tune out when he goes into that mode.

17. He looked exhausted. As you point out he always spun back his typical stump speech...

He was asked a foreign policy question and he immediately went into a rant about "fossil fuel companies".

5. Amy was better than Bernie last night.

She was more nimble and nuanced on several exchanges, showing depth that went far beyond her standard stump speech. Bernie didn't get out of his comfort zone. However, I'll say this: I'm more able to see him as a presidential figure than before. I'll gladly vote for him if he's our nominee, but still don't see him as the best choice all across America.

6. Bernie had a strong night but so did everybody, I thought.

His call for unity was strong and seemed sincere. There wasn't one person on that stage I'd be ashamed to vote for.

but all the candidates were at or near the top of their game, including Bernie Sanders.

but given where everyone is in the race, Bernie benefits most.

Everyone did pretty well I thought, but I doubt any trajectories changed.

12. Me and the people there think Amy won from what I saw on MSNBC afterwards.

I think Amy did the most to help herself last night. Bernie was better than usual, I agree with that. Think all of them had their moments and did well.

15. LOL! That nonsense is by Matthew Yglesias, who wrote last month that Sanders' supporters

are annoying, so Dems should let him win since they'll be even more annoying if he doesn't get the nomination, and then afterward we'll all somehow magically get along:

18. Sorry, I had Bernie 5th last night

But way ahead of Steyer, who spent the night bragging that he had the most black friends... and Yang, who practically promised to pardon Trump.

Every Bernie answer was his same, tired stump speech.

19. Listen....he did fine but we've all heard it to death a million times. I will say if he becomes the

nominee which I don't want...but if he does, last night made me fell a smidgen better about it.

Why make our job and lives harder with a Bernie nomination? Lets win by the largest margin possible in the
swing states and if everybody used their brain and not their hearts the clear nominee should be

JOE BIDEN.

....I don't think so...

...I think Amy beat him hands down...
