Gov. Ned Lamont on accusations against Joe Biden: ‘I think people have a good sense of who he is as a man and as a public servant’

Gov. Ned Lamont weighed in Tuesday after a pair of women accused former Vice President Joe Biden of unwanted touching as Biden prepares for a potential presidential bid.

“Look, I think Joe’s got a 40-year record of serving his country and people know Joe Biden pretty well,” Lamont told reporters after a meeting of the State Bond Commission. “So take a look at the accusations, pay attention to them, but I think people have a good sense of who he is as a man and as a public servant.”

Biden visited Hartford in October to campaign for Lamont and other Democrats, including U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., and U.S. Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-5th District.

Biden has lived in an aquarium for decades and all his public appearances have been witnessed by millions of people.

The smear tactic didn't stick because Joe has no secrets -- everything is out in the open.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
