Why Biden?

Why is Trump all hung up on Biden? Why not anyone else?

It's as if he's already decided who he is running against....This bothers me....it makes me feel like he already knows who the nominee will be....

the same thing happened when Hillary was running in the primaries- he was all hell-bent on Hillary......

Maybe there's some piece of this I don't understand....

1. I think Biden is the biggest threat (or perceived threat) to Putin.

I think it's Putin who doesn't want Biden as president. It was definitely Putin who didn't want Hillary.

He also is attached to Obama, and you know the orange puss ball, he hates anything and anyone that was chosen by Obama. I am not into conspiracy theories, I don't think he "knows" who the nominee will be any more than we do, he just doesn't like Joe and would prefer to run against someone like Bernie who has a lot of things he can easily attack.

I think he had some internal polling from very early that looked very, very bad for Trump vs. Biden. I think that's when the full-court-press kicked in.

in on bashing Biden. As if that wasn’t enough, they seldom give much time to surrogates, almost no time to any positive Biden event or story, while they give outsized status to two little white states and to flashes in the pan they crown instant stars.

Between Trump’s dirty tricks, the left, and MSM, also the tendency for white liberals and progressives to undervalue candidate history with AA voters, positive or negative, Biden is

10. Because Biden fit into the Ukraine narrative Putin floated that would serve

to get Russia off the hook for hacking Dem emails. Sanctions on Russia could be lifted by Trump and Congress if blame for email hacks could be shifted to Ukraine.

Remember, Trump was pushing the story that Ukraine was involved, not Russia.

He attacks every candidate. Even has a nickname for each one.

The media narrative is that the focus is on Joe because that is who he fears most. And Joe pushes that as well- and should. It’s his whole reason for running. He felt nobody else could beat Trump so he reluctantly decided to run...at least that was the story.

Going after the remaining son of a man who has lived with a great deal of loss and grief is absolutely hateful. Biden polled well for awhile but has not been able to deliver a campaign to legitimize the conventional wisdom regarding his electability.

21. Completely untrue...Trump and his Russian buddies wanted Sanders in 16...And Sanders did not

do enough to elect Hillary in the General IMHO...she still won the popular vote...Trump doesn't want to run against Biden because he knows Biden is likely to win the three states that gave Trump his 2016 victory...MI, WI and PA. Sanders who has never been vetted by the GOP will be destroyed in a general...and we are likely to lose the House.
