Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumBloomberg ads a little deceptive
I've been seeing a lot of Bloomberg ads here in Texas and they appear a little deceitful. They use clips of Obama praising Bloomberg for his time of mayor and it makes it appear like Obama is endorsing Bloomberg. As far as I know Obama has not endorsed anyone.

(15,365 posts)any candidate and will not do so until a candidate either has the winning number of delegates before the Convention or until one is chosen at the Convention. He has too much class and political savvy to do otherwise.
Personally, I hope for the former rather than the latter. As we saw in 2016, however, even when our eventual nominee had the winning number of delegates, one candidate and his supporters STILL refused to concede before the Convention. Sigh.
But yes, such ads by Bloomberg are not only disingenuous but also quite deceptive.
Thanks for your OP!

(1,115 posts)IT's a legitimate thing to put into an ad.
Happens all the time with popular former presidents in primaries.
I remember Jack Kemp using footage of Reagan praising him during a Republican Primary.
Some people are probably just pissed because Obama never praised Sanders.
