I don't think another centrist candidate will be the best choice if you are looking at electability. There are a lot of poor people across this country who feel hopeless and never vote. It's best to try and give these voters a message that appeals to them than the very small sliver of moderate people who are the fiscally conservative socially liberal people that the party has bent over backwards for the last few decades.

I am from the midwest and know some about the type of people from around here. There are a lot of union households that are economically liberal and socially conservative that are more gettable than the mainstream centrist that is commonly represented in the media.

I think Senator Sanders may have the best chance of reaching those voters than most of the field. I actually think that in a general election VP Biden would one of the better campaigners on the ground and connect well with these types of voters as well. We have a long way to go until the first debates let alone the first primaries so it'll be interesting to see how this large field begins to widdle.

We do not need OH and we should not waste any time or money there. OH is too far gone.

MI and PA will be moving back to Team Blue easily in 2020. WI will be closer but given the high likelihood that least one of AZ, GA and NC will be flipping blue, we don’t need WI, even though we should contest it.

I really developed a strong dislike for this man when he went after Nancy. But I am no fool. I see and hear the talk all around at every level of the economic spectrum and alarmingly, there seems to be more talk of voting for Trump than I experienced in 2016. Some of my friends who never showed me their racist and sexist side are full out Trump supporters. Of course, i don't see them or hear from them that much any more.

It's scary folks. I am trying to be real here. We need a massive expose of something from the Mueller report to change their minds. i believe that they might vote for someone like Ryan over any of the other Democratic candidates.
