Trump shares parody Biden video: 'Welcome back Joe'

Trump on Thursday shared an edited video making light of allegations of unwanted touching against former Vice President Joe Biden.

Trump posted the video, which features footage from a Biden statement issued a day earlier in which he addressed the allegations, on his Twitter feed with the message "WELCOME BACK JOE"

In the 15-second clip, an image of the former vice president is edited into the footage to appear to grab Biden's shoulders and nestle against the back of his head as he speaks.

"I shake hands, I hug people, I grab men and women by the shoulders and say, 'you can do this,' " Biden, who is widely expected to shortly enter the 2020 race, says in the clip. "And whether they’re women, men, young, old, it’s the way I’ve always been. It’s the way I try to show I care about them and I’m listening."

7. They are not out of touch because the point is to distract.

Trump would much rather have a discussion about two different types of physical contact than about actual policies or character. The first discussion is at least a draw for him, because he can talk about it longer than you have patience for, but the second is a certain loser because he has no policies or character.

Having made his official apology, Biden can move on. Trump will bring it up again no doubt. Biden should play around with it to show it doesn't matter then pivot back to policy.

2. The petty part of me hopes the next Dem president trashes 45 during the inauguration speech.

And then rains hell on every Republican every day thereafter just like 45 has done.

Thankfully, our candidates have too much respect for the position and its duties regardless of my own petty wishes.
