Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumWho do you think will be our top 5 candidates by the end of the year?
Here's my prediction, in no particular order:
A) Kamala
B) Warren
C) Sanders
D) Mayor Pete
E) Biden
Notice my favorite candidate is not there, at least from what I see today. However, I hope he can gain traction as he does have good ideas IMO.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(58,785 posts)really don't want to. We have to lose some good choices as this is whittled down.
Klobuchar was smeared, but she's really, really, really good and must be considered. Gov. Innes -- we can't lose someone as good as him! Hickenlooper's a centrist and hasn't been on my list, but he's yet another very impressive and effective governor for the people.
Btw, Rep. Tim Ryan of OH just announced. Just looked up his effectiveness rating and that metric's a pathetic 0.266, with a starting point of 1 and effective minority party (us) legislators rated at least in the upper 1.somthings. The best you can say is that at least it's better than Bernie Sanders' 0.159. What else has Ryan been doing, besides, of course, trying to get Pelosi kicked out of the speaker's position because, you know, if we insist on a woman we have lots of women could replace her? Anything?
Maybe ask for the 5 who need to be winnowed asap. I think that'd be fairly easy.
