and Biden, Warren, Buttigieg, Klobuchar Bloomberg combined = 2X.

Two observations-


(1) I'm thinking this is going to be the most fascinating convention for deal brokering that I have ever witnessed.

(2) Bernie is not going to be our nominee.

2. I think point (1) is correct.

For politics junkies, the Democratic convention should be fascinating. It will be fascinating because point (2) is unclear.

3. Yeah, I was too young to remember the convention that nominated Adlai Stevenson.

I heard there was some contention at the convention.

'68 had it's own memorable moments, hopefully never to be repeated.

and remember my mother going to lots of downtown parties in Chicago. Seemed like it was a long convention. My dad wasn't happy😆

6. If Bernie ends up leading by 700 to 1000 delegates it's going to be hard to deny him

the nomination.

Without blowing up the party and letting Trump win that is.

8. Here's my thoughts on Bernie's convention chances - early balloting.

I think he has a ceiling to start the balloting. If things resolve quickly, someone else is going to win. But it could be slower and every other candidate at the convention could create a path to nomination. But most other committed delegates are probably not going to run to Bernie at the start. I could be wrong, though.

After SuperTuesday I expect the field to significantly narrow

12. 538 was projecting Sanders with over a 700 delegate lead just the other day.

Time will tell.

If Sanders' lead is indeed that large or larger, not making him the nominee will blow up the party.

But, we will all know for sure by July 16th.

11. That would definitely cause Trump to be re-elected even without russia's help.

If you shut out all the democratic voters by taking away their vote, you make sure everyone stays home. If the fix is in, it doesn't matter to the masses who the fix ends up with. Our country is shot either way. If Bernie gets the most delegates, Bernie should get the nomination.

I think he'd win big, if russia doesn't hack the machines.

13. So defeating Trump is no longer important?

If a candidate does not have the delegates to win in the first round, anything can happen. We vote for whoever the candidate is in Nov
