(295,899 posts)Leader who is a woman of color would be a winning ticket.
I've read that Biden says the kind of VP he would choose.. someone who basically supports his agenda. Not always of course.. he and President Obama had disagreements.

(28,713 posts)I love Amy. Would love her to advance some and Al be given he seat.
But Biden/Amy seems (oh I hate saying) kinda boring.
That being said, Id trust them both with my life and my last cent. Which may be pretty close to what happens.
Love Katie Porter.

(36,227 posts)Biden may not be progressives' favorite, but voters at large -- including Independents and borderline Repugs -- will find him more palatable than most of the other candidates. And Klobuchar seems even more moderate. And regionalism does play a role.

(11,155 posts)Two 70 years olds would be a difficult sell. Heck, one candidate in their 70's is a hard sell to me.
I would look for someone from the Midwest to the Rockies. A Governor would be good.
One issue of many, Hillary had last time was picking another East coaster as VP.

(42,638 posts)split convention. Picking her courts trouble with the left progressives. A Stacey Abrams-type would be far more unifying at multiple levels.

(46,572 posts)I hope this is not a case of moderates trying to co-opt a term. Amy's environmental record is pretty bad. There is a reason why she does well in her red locale.
