15. Not quite. Liberals of all colors are our largest voting bloc by FAR.

Should be pointed out because ideological breakdown is huge. Both of the house's two large main ideological caucuses are liberal. Only 25 of 235 members are conservative blue dogs. And members so far left that they're antipathetic to liberal Democratic ideals and dominance can probably be counted on one hand.

But even by racial/ethnic breakdown rather than ideological, @75% of all Democrats are white. But most AA, 13.3% of all Americans, unite in the liberal party of equality to maximize their power, which means most black conservatives who vote, not just black liberals, vote Democrat. And thanks be given -- to them all -- for that!

9. So if you are 62 years old and never missed a Vote but are not POC.

Does that mean you are not "our most Loyal Democratic Voters". What about a POC who has never voted? Is there a way to telling from looking at a person whether they are among the Most Loyal or a POC but apolitical. Personally I find it offensive to find this attitude. If you are a loyal democrat you are one of "our most Loyal Democratic Voters".

12. Would it be a problem for you to change it from "most" to one of many loyal democrat blocs?

That is how you can make your point without setting one part of the democratic party above other parts. "The Most Loyal" when readers think they are pretty damn loyal to a party is a problem. The Most Loyal Voters are those who vote and pay attention to politics and this group crosses all genders and races and the opposite is true as well Non voters cross gender and racial lines. Maybe you just don't understand how a statement like that comes off. I think that's possible.

14. POC especially WOC have

Voted Democratic More than any other voting bloc.

Black Women Voters Will Be Central to the 2020 Presidential Election, Experts Predict

After black women delivered some notable advances for Democrats during last year’s midterm elections, they have emerged as a key voting bloc going into the 2020 presidential race.

In the wake of the general election last year, black women stand out as a demographic group with one of the largest voter turnouts. The U.S. Census Bureau reports that 55% of eligible black women voters cast ballots in November 2018, a full six percentage points above the national turnout

Pointing out that as a bloc 60% Of people with a POC demographic voted in 2018 and are likely to vote and vote demoratic party iin overwhelming percentages is factually accurate. However it only mentions 2018. POC voting was down in 2016 including in some battleground states. How far back doea Most Loyal Go? And how does it apply to POC who do not vote or only voted once fir Obama or vote Republican?

Here is a competing demographic. I am not positive how accurate these numbers are but close enough for my point. in 2008, 98 percent of Jews voted. Historically at an 80 percent democratic party rate although it has reduced in recent years to around 65 percent democrat butthe rest are not all republican. I think its around 14 percent republican. However, within jewish voters who dont care about israel is a bloc that always votes and always votes democratic so perhaps theae demcratic party jewish voters who are never miss a vote for democrats are "The Most Loyal". My father is 92 and has never missed a vote. Hard to say soneone else is More Loyal.

Better yet is to avoid using Most when talking to other democrats. Most is a comparative word and minimizes other outside of your identified most group. Maybe you and I are actually in The group of Most Loyal Demcrats.

To me THe Most Loyal Democrats are all democrats who vote and vote democrat whatever race or gender they are. which includes the people you want to praise and then I will add to your praise. Let us hope all Loyal Democrats put down the primary emotions and Vote Trump out. We need all of us

13. The Democratic Party since Nixon has traditionally

represented those people which have not been afforded power by the Republican base, which is comprised largely of white males. Recall Republicans sneering that Democrats were the "mommy party" because they took up issues that affected women? We have been a coalition of people of color and women, with black women at the heart of the party. I trust their judgment.

What better north star to follow when it comes to seeking and keeping democracy and justice than those who have fought so hard to gain it for themselves and their families? We join them in common cause to keep freedom and justice first and foremost in the consciousness of the nation.

This is why Sanders took so long to gain traction. He failed to recognize that economic grievances are not enough in the face of injustices stemming from racism and misogyny. In fact, he has had a slow learning curve and problems with both in his campaigns. Bloomberg has similar issues to overcome an, frankly, should drop out and use his money to better causes than a campaign.

We should keep this in mind when dealing with Trump and his red caps. The broader Democratic Party must be mindful of how Republicans target our specific groups, the language used, and that their marginalization of people springs from a deep well of entitlement based on traditional beliefs that women and people of color are inferior to white males.

18. Thank you, brer cat.

I think some people, candidates included, do not grasp the nuances of these issues that fall under the rubric of intersectionality now. If a candidate cannot adequately address issues that affect women and people of color that demonstrates an understanding of the nuances of power differentials, then they should be rejected.

I get so tired of hearing people talk about young white progressives as the Dem base. They are not - African Americans, primarily women of color, are and have been the party's base.
