No other candidate reached the threshold so no delegates.

Not exactly the run away win Sanders would hope for.

The "canvass" period goes until April 3rd when final results will be posted.

1. 93% is not total vote, it's the number of precincts that have reported at least partial data.

The current portion of the estimated total vote in is 58%, mostly due to mail-in votes still being received and counted.

3. California needs to get a handle on their election

I don’t remember Hillary not being called election night. She was!!! This is crazy that days later we don’t have resolution. Not Iowa, but second worst state this primary. Perhaps send ballots out a month early with a due date of one week before the election. California needs to tighten up.

4. The expectation is that Cali will take a couple weeks

It was talked about last week. It was complained about by Trump. We watched the blue wave unfold in 2018 during it. Bernie gained a lot on Hillary during it.
But now that it is going slowly against Bernie it is the second worst.
I thought Democrats wanted all the votes counted, and people given greater voting access.

12. People were pretty happy with the CA process when counting the mail-in votes received after election

day in 2018 flipped the results in favor of Democrats in a number of House districts.

Most states don't count votes that are mailed on or before election day but received after. By what magic process should California count ballots not yet received? Or should they make it harder to vote?

BTW, there are still over 3 million votes yet to be counted. That 93% is misleading.

10. I am thrilled that it's within 8 points now, I was expecting a double digit loss.

13. California allocates 271 delegates at the congressional district level...

As long as a candidate gets 15% in a CD, they will be awarded a portion of the delegates in that CD.

I estimated +65 net gain a couple nights ago, but the results are tightening up as more votes are counted.

As of now there are only 139 outstanding delegates in 6 states.
