Beto town hall in Bluffton,SC with Q & A on uniting behind nominee, guns, education, Israel, etc.

He is so classy and humble...picture quality isn't great at larger sizes but the audio is good. Some great questions were asked, too.

Excellent response to a question about uniting behind the eventual nominee is at around the 25:00 mark....but the entire speech is good and worth a listen.

Beto proposals on education - teacher’s pay, forgiving debt after a number of years teaching, are right on point. The passion with which he talks about this fits the subject perfectly and he rejects vouchers. People snipe about a privileged man who married money? He has his kids in public schools.

He wasn't talking a lot of policy at first because he was talking to voters and listening, getting a feel for what is important to people, their ideas, etc. He is incredible at connecting the dots between a policy and what it actually looks like and the impact it has in the real world.

I was attempting to explain why I think people kept saying he was "light" on policy. I was agreeing with you but clearly not doing a very good job of it, lol.
