Question for the here and now:
both of our candidates must be asked point blank if they would push for huge corporate/industry bailouts, as IQ45 is doing now, or would they concentrate funds available into the direct service of individuals in need?

1. I personally think it is more complicated than that.
In the short term, we need to help people. And the more directly, the better. In the long term, we must ensure they have jobs to return to.

2. These two men are smart enough to answer complicated questions.
I would love to hear their answers.
When someone answers, “It’s complicated,” they generally mean one of two things: A. I don’t want to answer that question. or B. You’re too stupid to understand the answer. “It’s complicated” is either avoidance or an insult. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |

3. I'm just saying the question should acknowledge the complexity.
I certainly think the question is a valid one if it is framed more generally. Something more like: what are the best steps we can take to ensure peoples’ basic needs are met and the nation’s economy stabilized?
Old-fashioned bailouts are not the best option here. My own progressive side also tells me this is a chance make some transformational changes, though that will probably have to wait until after the election. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

5. It doesn't have to be either/or.
But I do think that is a timely and important question.

6. I want to know who they would prioritize, corporations or people.
I know people work for corporations. If they are in need, we help them first.
I don’t want resources going to the corporate entity itself or to any CEOs or upper management. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |
