"Never Biden" movement needs to be denounced

Just now taking form.

Take it from this Bernie Bro. Don't fall for it.

If you really want to read about it in detail, easy to find but I won't link.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

it's possible I am in a bubble but even socialists and leftists i am aware of seem to be recognizing that we have to defeat Trump no matter what.

That said, I do think there are things that Biden can and should do to shore up his support among those on the left. I would, for example, be a lot more comfortable if he selected a more liberal, left leaning running mate, preferably a person of color or a woman.

If you don't believe in "Bernie or Bust" or "Never Biden", you are not a "Bernie Bros". You are a normal thinking Bernie supporter and we know there is more of you than them.

that's one of the grievances these people have. They're probably not real Democrats to begin with. Some might be disgruntled lefties but many are definitely trolls.

As far as young people go, they generally have low turnout even for Bernie's primaries. Hopefully once Obama starts campaigning for Biden, turnout will increase. But Biden is perfectly acceptable to me, a young brown male. Anyone who can't bring themselves to vote for Biden against Trump, was probably not going to vote for many of our Dem candidates anyway regardless of ideology.

I would love Medicare for all but there's no votes for it if people remember the fight to get the ACA passed through congress.

and have a "never Biden" attitude, I am not sure they can be reached.

As someone in a vulnerable population, it is beyond my level of understanding to know how someone can be so callous, selfish and destructive by not using the power of their vote (or not voting at all) to defeat the president.

I just don't get it, and I'm not going to try. In fact, I feel more resentful than anything. That's a more useful emotion for me to motivate me to drive GOTV activities among underrepresented and marginalized groups and to mobilize the base so we have a blue wave.

It seems like mostly an attention-getting device. A small percentage of Sanders supporters were likely never going to support Biden in the first place, in part because of the distrust of the party that Sanders himself has introduced and perpetuated.

In our country and a president who has made the situation 100x worse.

Anyone saying “Never Biden” at this point is a Trump enabler. Fuck them. They have no concern over the wellbeing of their brothers and sisters. Fuck them.

I think Biden will make up the difference among anti-Hillary votes we lost in 2016 and still be in good shape, but they are the most self centered, arrogant pieces of crap. WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC.
