I’ve been assured by Sanders supporters here Bernie is the runaway front runner and is soaring in “all the polls”.

I certainly may end up changing my preference as the primary plays out, but as of today, he is my choice!

I actually got choked up during the part in his speech wherein he didn't want to go back 20 years to relive that time, but rather to find himself back then, a young man deeply uncertain about "how he can fit into this world" and tell that youngster that he was gonna be okay.

VERY moving. That was an incredibly moving moment, a very personal monologue. I frequently hear the word "authentic" in reference to Mayor Pete. He's DEFINITELY that. He's gonna get a massive boost from this announcement speech. For many potential voters, this will probably be the first time they've had a chance to give him a listen, and get a sense of who he is.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

He is my early preference. I met him in August and was impressed.

Yes, that could change. But he is young and has a long time left to be a Democratic leader.
