where is Joe Biden lately? i haven't seen him for a few days

he could be holding alternative pressers to respond to Trump's daily press-abuse event with a real discussion of the situation we face as Americans, and as humans

if he's giving Trump room to try out presidentin' during a crisis, that grace period better end really soon

else people will start associating whatever Trump does with actual leadership and we will lose bigly in November

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

it'll look like he's politicizing a national emergency...even if it was mostly caused by Trump himself.

The people will just have to learn the hard way that elections have consequences and that "Stupid Is As Stupid Votes". They learned that back in the 1930s but almost all of them are dead now so the lesson has to be relearned all over again.

think Joe should just let that go without providing an alternative vision?

It would be advantageous if the presumptive nominee could coordinate the message of the Dem party with the leaders in Congress, but if he were to do it, there'd be howls of outrage about rigging and coronation etc from those who are so delusional they think Sen Sanders still has a chance to win.

As an older candidate who makes gaffes, he needs to take the Reagan route of prioritizing quality over quantity. He has been doing this successfully over the past few weeks (and winning) whereas before he was spreading himself too thin and messing up often.

Joe can't appear to be politicizing this crisis, it's too dangerous and could blow back on him.

I do share your fear about Trump trying to act like FDR or something (lol), and stupid people buying in this. The stimulus and other gov't actions taken are classic Democratic strategies that are antithetical to the GOP's anti-gov't philosophy. Voters need to understand this, why they need to elect a Democrat for these times.
