Eric Swalwell hits back at Trump for giving 'firefighting advice' to Paris: 'Do your own damn job'

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), who is seeking the Democratic nomination for president in 2020, on Monday hit back at President Trump for giving "firefighting advice" to Paris amid a fire at the city's Notre Dame Cathedral.

Swalwell in a tweet urged Trump to "do your own damn job."

"Branding advice for Boeing. Firefighting advice for France. How about this? Do your own damn job," Swalwell tweeted.

Earlier Monday, with the Notre Dame Cathedral engulfed in a massive fire, Trump took to Twitter to weigh in on the fire and suggest that "flying water tankers" be used in response.

He is absolutely tough on Trump, just as tough on Trump as Bernie is. I think Swalwell will get a lot of interest once people get to hear him some more.

Trump’s advice seems even more moronic today after seeing how much was saved and the walls and bell towers staying intact.

Credit goes to the masterful work of the Paris Fire Department.

I've always liked him, but wasn't sure about him as a presidential candidate. I like what I see so far.

This is why I'm so far undecided. I'm learning things about candidates, some of which I didn't know before. I'd like to know more.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
