Pete Buttigieg on CNN right now.

What a pleasure it is to listen to a man who speaks with measured tone, intellect, and warmth.

Mayor Pete's thoughtfulness and processing are part of what would make a person a great president.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I'm really struggling to keep listening to him right now to try to see why so many here like him but I find his tone to be kind of tedious to listen to.

Not hearing any policy positions specific to what he will do.

He doesn't give as many specifics in his stump speech but he always answers a bunch of questions after that speech where he goes into very specific detail. In the last month he has answered about 500 of those questions.

They asked Pete to tell them specifics on what he would do just now on CNN and he didn't really answer.

Haven’t seen Pete’s either.
Right now, he’s just getting the media questions which are always pretty general and vague.
I’m sure he soon will be pressed for more specifics.

He also live streams conversations while he is driving to his next event.

Also, this is an example of the kind of conversations and input Beto is getting to form his policy positions.

He's about to do an event any minute and will be live streaming from facebook. He is doing 5 events today in Virginia, two tomorrow in Northern VA and then the next two days in NH. He always takes questions each event. He has had a few people obviously from other campaigns trying to be a bit disruptive but handles it like a pro.

The 45 minute speeches on single topics are coming and none of us will watch. So they’re both doing fine.

Much more will be coming out in due time, he has an actual overarching campaign plan. One has to introduce oneself before you can engage in a policy deep dive.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
