Will Hillary Clinton's endorsement make a difference?

She has stayed out of it so far. But will her endorsement of a candidate make a difference to undecideds or supporters of other candidates?

19. Makes sense to me. Her endorsement will most likely help candidates with those Democrats

who voted for her in the primary. It won't affect the votes of most of those who did not; in this case, the candidate her or himself will be the determining factor, not HRCs endorsement. There may be some for whom her endorsement would be viewed as a negative -- but that's hard for me to imagine; if there are, hopefully they are few and far between.

I'm not a fan, but if he changed his rhetoric or used some of Clinton's many policies position (like every other candidate running) I'd give him a chance.

He continues to hire people and says things that seem designed to turn me off as a Clinton voter.

I only really think Gabbard's voters going back to Sanders.

to suggest he'd get people that have heard his positions, but hadn't voted for him in the past.

My state of Virginia is a perfect example of how I don't think he can add voters to his side.

We don't register with a party and our primary day was Midway through the second half of '16 season.

Yet, VA was one of his biggest loses at the time.

He now has one of the highest name recognitions and is fav/unfav is about equal.

I predict that she will be one of the last political heavyweights that will issue and endorsement.

VP Biden didnít weigh in with his endorsement of her until the day before the Democratic Convention, and even then it was more of a support statement than an official endorsement.

Iím pretty sure that BS will not be able to count on her endorsement at all.

I predict that she will hold off on issuing any endorsement until there is a clear front-runner.

While the popular vote doesnít make a president, itís hard to argue that the person who won the popular vote in the last election cycleís endorsement wonít hold a lot of weight.

see her accepting the honor if she can enthusiastically sing the praises of Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar, Jay Inslee, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and others who may be our nominee.

57. She could send a video address to attendees. An aging couple

like Hill and Bill could have an array of ailments that would require a short period of rest and seclusion.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

53. I thought she was going to come for KH, and was surprised when she didn't.

She seems to favor her in comments.

55. I am pretty sure she will not interfere in the primaries.

My sense is that if she'd speak out, it'd be Harris or Booker. But she'll wait for the nomination. And the answer to your question is a big YES.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Kamala Harris

59. Yes, Certainly!

Although they weren't enough to overcome the momentum Trump built by lying through his teeth in 2016, HRC's supporters are an ardent bunch and her endorsement could hold real value.

Bernie Sanders

60. It will be massive. I see it ending the nominating process.

That is why I think that she and President Obama won't endorse anyone. But what should we look for? The number of their ex-staffers or campaign people going to campaigns.

63. Probably depends on who she endorses. I.e. Biden not so much, any candidate whose experience is

Seen as maybe too little - it would be a bid deal.

Consider if Stacy Abrams enters and Clinton makes the case that she has the skill set and ability to be a great President. That might reassure some people.

I know Kerry's endorsement, followed by Kennedy's did that in 2008.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Elizabeth Warren
