Not a groundbreaking statement, but I realize she's one of the few candidates to routinely talk about improving election security.

(1,588 posts)Elections are managed by the state legislatures. The Republicans presently hold both houses of the state legislatures to give tRump a larger electoral victory than in 2016. Any voter suppression efforts by Republicans will be fought in the courts. McConnell has just pushed through a record number of conservative judges and is determined to confirm more after recess.
We better get out a lot of votes. It would really be bad to have a lot of discouraged voters.

(3,148 posts)interference and GOp voter suppression.
I also think we need our candidates to continue to talk about protecting our voting system. It's a glaring abdication of power Donny is doing on a daily bases.

(1,588 posts)we are ripe for election suppression and fraud. They used Georgia as a testing grounds for every trick in the book last year and are going to do it again. Now with so many new Republican judges it will be like last time that they won't intervene because it is too late and would "skew" the election. Bullpucky
