I think Samuel Adams had Joe in mind when he said this

“If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.”

― Samuel Adams

If I were to vote in a presidential

Boston Beer (NYSE: SAM) founder Jim Koch was one of 13 corporate executives who dined with President Donald Trump on Tuesday night at his New Jersey golf resort. And Koch used the opportunity to thank Trump for a tax cut that he said would help the company compete with foreign brewers.

Koch's unscripted comments were delivered during a dinner meeting with Trump and 12 other executives to discuss the economy. Other attendees included Johnson & Johnson CEO Alex Gorsky, FedEx Corp. CEO Fred Smith, Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg, and outgoing PepsiCo Inc. CEO Indra Nooyi.
