"SNIP....

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), “who has raised millions of dollars during his campaigns over the years, has indicated to associates in recent days that he will be opening his vast and powerful fundraising network exclusively to Joe Biden,” CNBCreports.

“Cuomo’s support could be a game-changer for Biden. While the former vice president has consistently led Democratic primary polls, he has been aggressively courting donors in a bid to catch up to an already crowded primary field that has a head start in the fundraising game. New York State Board of Elections data show Cuomo has raked in $100 million in campaign contributions since he first ran for governor in 2010. At least 80 percent of his backers have given him $10,000 or more.”

7. Possible, but not likely. If Biden gets the nomination, he would probably look for someone

from a red or rust belt state to complement the ticket, or perhaps consider gender, race, or other demographics that could also complement the ticket

It's the standard "strategery."

Joe is northeast. So he would want to choose someone not from the northeast. A purple or critical state: rust belt state, Texas, a southern state maybe.

8. My bet is State or AG

Cuomo still thinks he’s going to run for President some day and will be looking to round out his credentials. Secretary of State gives him the foreign policy background he lacks at this point. AG gives him a platform and way to make national headlines. I don’t see him as a VP candidate. There probably needs be a woman/minority on the ticket. Biden/Harris makes a lot of sense.

11. Interesting. Sounds plausible about Cuomo. Not about Harris, though.

She's from CA, a coastal Democratic state. So you'd have 2 Democrats from the traditional 2 coastal regions. Still, she's a minority woman, so that's helpful. Mayor Pete is a protected class and from the rust belt. Beto is Texas. Klobuchar is MN, but I don't know if that's very helpful. He could also pick someone who is not one of the other candidates.

primary today, I would vote for:
