With the Iowa caucuses just days away, the Des Moines Register is partnering with CNN to present the results of the final Des Moines Register/CNN/Mediacom Iowa Poll on Saturday evening.
The much-watched poll, called the “gold standard” in political polling, will be released during a CNN Special Event: “Iowa Caucuses: The Final Poll,” televised from Des Moines’ Drake University. The event will also be streamed on DesMoinesRegister.com starting at 8 p.m. central Saturday, Feb. 1.
CNN’s Chris Cuomo will lead the show and will be joined by CNN colleagues John King, Dana Bash and David Chalian. Brianne Pfannenstiel, chief politics reporter for the Register, and J. Ann Selzer, president of the Iowa-based polling firm Selzer & Co., which conducts the Iowa Poll, will also participate.
