What are "personal taxes"?

That Trump's people say he has been paying? Sales taxes? On all the crap he buys for his golf clubs & hotels--and then books them full of people seeking favors?

I think he better call.....

SNL addressed Trump's finances

When they presented his first press conference (with Alec Baldwin). At 4:20, his "tax attorney" comes on. Makes me laugh hard every time I see it.....

Attendees egged at Pro-Trump Rally in Delaware

By "hateful leftists" according to the Republican Senate Candidate. A friend told me about it, and I was going to drive by and give them the finger, but I decided not to (in case they were armed).

Witzke claimed in a tweet, without offering evidence, that the perpetrators were "hateful leftists." Police had no identifying information.

Voted in person in Delaware primary

We have a new system where they hand you a blank ballot, you go into the booth and insert the ballot into the machine, then make your selections (touch screen). Then the machine prints your choices onto your ballot and presents it to you behind a glass window. You verify that it is correct and then hit "Submit" and it sucks it in.

I like that there's a paper ballot to back up the computer

I wonder how the people of Arizona

feel about Trump calling Pat Tillman (former Arizona State and Arizona Cardinals player) a "sucker" and a "loser"? He turned down millions and millions of dollars to volunteer after 9/11. I had forgotten about that until today.

Peter Garrett of Midnight Oil

I love Midnight Oil and I love that their lead singer, Peter Garrett has walked the walk of environmental and racial activism. He was a longtime member of the Australian Conservation Foundation before being elected to the House of Representatives in 2004. In 2007, he was appointed to be the Minister for the Environment, Heritage, & the Arts. In 2010, he was named as the Minister of Education. This after overcoming the deaths of both parents (his mother in a house fire) while he was still in school. Although his career in politics was marked by some compromises that pissed off loyalists, he was responsible for ending Japanese whaling ships killing whales off the coast of Australia (starting the fight that ended up in International Court) among other accomplishments.

Midnight Oil songs often reflect environmental and social justice interests...the seemingly powerless versus corporate and military interests. In 1985, Midnight Oil toured remote Aboriginal communities with the Warumpi Band in order to learn more about their lives and to share their music. At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, The Oils performed wearing shirts that said "SORRY"--to apologize for the government's previous policy of separating Aboriginal children from their families (for which the Prime Ministers had refused to apologize for).
