Yavin4's JournalIs it too much to have one day to calm down after the election? Just one stinking day?!?!?!
All of the elections haven't even been finalized yet.
First item of business for the new House, pass a hike in the minimum wage
Sends a positive, forward message to the voters that the Dems are trying to help everyone. Next, improve the ACA. If the Senate does not pick it up or Trump vetoes it, then so be it. They will become political issues for 2020.
Basic Facts: Republicans have lost more seats under Trump than they have gained.
1. Reliable red states and districts are becoming increasingly more competitive.
2. Republicans are losing more seats in reliable blue states.
3. More people overall are voting for Democrats than they are Republicans. '
4. More states are trending from red blue, Virginia for example, than states are trending blue to red.
In sum, the Republican party has become a base only party that relies on gerrymandering and voter suppression to stay in power. Once Trump is gone, they will be finished as a national party as no other Republican will be able to maintain this political strategy.

Time and destiny are on our side. Don't let the pundits get you down. This was a big night for the Democrats. A huge win and a bright future for everyone.
The House matters most.
Would love to have the Senate. Would love the GA and FLA governors races, but it's the House that's a must have. The House equals subpoena power and true oversight.
Do not let the media throw cold water on that fact.
I think I'm going to stay away from the news until the election is over.
I'm not going to get sucked into hyperbolic media coverage.
