The effects of the Pfizer vaccine - nine days later.
In some ways, we are like the frogs in the pot. We are subjects in a vaccine experiment. The health experts issued the vaccine under "emergency use".
Of course, this is only my own personal experience and opinion. Everybody is different. Sometimes it may be more difficult to understand our bodies over a lengthened period of time.
However, nine days ago, my wife and I took our first vaccine. It was the one-year anniversary of the W.H.O. declaring it a world pandemic.
The effects I have personally noted after nine days:
I have mostly lost my smell and taste buds. Food and drink taste more flat. (Does anyone have an idea whether that is short-term or permanent?)
However, I do seem to be sleeping a little more soundly. My breathing seems to have improved over the last few days. My lungs seem somewhat more strengthened. (I have asthma)
The vaccine seems to affect the nose, the sinus area, and the lungs, in my personal experience.
Has anyone else experienced any effects from their vaccine?

FBI Director Wray says "zero tolerance" for extremism or violence.
There is one way for him to prove it.
Can you guess what that might be?
"Zero tolerance" should be interpreted as "no one is above the law".
Those in and out of power should understand that.
The irritation at the edge of your consciousness....
..why is it there?
You don't like sedition?
You don't like lies? You don't like violence? You don't like the division?
Just cruelty for the sake of cruelty?
Name-calling and character assassination masquerading as "political correctness"?
Partisan warfare?
My side or your side?
Perhaps we did not see clearly the divisions within our democracy, that were just waiting to be exploited?
United we stand, divided we will fall...

The web they weave...
Even common courtesy is considered "political correctness".
The political rancor is understandable.
However necessary the need to work together to solve our problems, there is no spirit for "bi-partisanship" in Washington.
They bought into the name-calling, the division, and the lies. They adopted the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" philosophy.
At last report, the previous Administration had over 30.000 lies or misrepresentations over the last four years. That is a heavy load for anyone to carry. But the Republican Party establishment in Washington has chosen to carry it.
The self-deception has become so powerful that it is no longer possible to communicate. All conversations and discussions must begin with some parameters. Discussions cannot begin with the premise of a lie. That is the web they have woven.
There is no room for honest discussion.
Why very few Republicans deserve re-election?
They have hitched their wagons to racists and white supremacists, and even, insurrectionists.
They cannot speak ill of any of them because they are looking to them for support.
These are their voters.
They are putting their criminal supporters above the country and our democracy. It is inconceivable that they have sunk to that level but they have.
That alone is enough to disqualify them from re-election.
They are not deserving to serve in our Congress or Senate, and certainly, not the White House.
They vote to not honor the Capitol policemen who protected their lives on January 6th. They did not like the word "insurrection". Perhaps they have a better name for it?
They simply cannot bring themselves to criticize the criminals that attacked our Capitol on that shameful day.
