Will there be a mass exodus from Congress by Republicans in 2022?

By the time their re-election rolls around, the investigations should be well along?

From what it looks like today, many of them were complicit with the attack upon our Capitol.

Would they rather withdraw from their races than face the scrutiny that is sure to come?

They are hoping the story will disappear or something else will replace it. Until then, they will continue to define it as a big ol' nothing burger.

But, it's not going away.

Trump broke into the Republicans' home and stole all the food out of the refrigerator...

Now, he has sent them a cease and desist order. They are not to use his name or likeness in any Republican ads or fundraiser letters.

He wants all Republican money to go thru his account. He will give them money for their campaigns when he feels like they deserve it.

If they want to raise money, they will need to journey down to Mar-a-Lago and give him a cut of whatever is raised. He owns the Republican Party and he doesn't want them to forget it.

It's truly hilarious!

The FBI has captured data from every phone call from in and around Capitol on January 6th.

I heard Lawrence O'Donnell mention this on his show last night.

They were able to get all the carriers to cooperate and they now have what could be a goldmine of information?

They have not only the data of calls from the insurrectionists but also the calls from Congressmen, Senators, and all their assistants.

I assume this would also include the White House?

(I suppose this could explain why Senator Hawley was so interested in asking Christopher Wray about phone data collection, when he was questioned the other day?)

Republicans are stuck between a rock and hard place.

All they can do is make excuses.

Because they cannot admit to the truth.

They were complicit in the attack upon our nation's Capitol on January 6th.

They make excuses.

First, they pretended that the attack was all over-blown.

Then, they tried to shift the blame. What are the Democrats doing putting a fence around our Capitol, they asked?

They were almost silent when it came to punishing those that marched on the Capitol and killed people and desecrated the center of our democracy.

Because, the more they tried to blame the culprits, the more guilty they looked to the rest of America.

They are still looking for an escape from this criminal plot they hatched with Donald Trump.

They will say anything to try and escape any responsibility. They will do and say anything except tell the truth.

Democrats have shown that "bi-partisanship" does not reside in Washington, DC.

It resides out in the countryside.

Has there ever been a political Party more out of touch with their voters than the present Republican Party? Almost half of their voters supported Joe Biden's COVID-19 Relief legislation, but he could not even get one vote from the Republicans in the US Senate. If they had voted in proportion to their voters, there would have been twenty or more vote for the legislation.

They really have no argument about "bi-partisanship". That was their call and they missed it.

They have become something else besides a representative political Party?

I watched a little bit of OAN yesterday...

The saga continues. The lies continue.

Just so you know, it was NOT an "armed insurrection"!

They wanted everyone to know that none of the people arrested on January 6th were carrying guns.
Therefore, they could not be "armed". People carrying metal stakes, flag poles, fire extinguishers, spears, and clubs are not considered "armed", regardless of their intent. Everything must revolve around the gun.

Never mind that people were killed and other lives threatened. It was no big deal. They were just letting off a little steam.

Never mind that they were knocking out windows and ramming down doors and screaming deadly epithets. Never mind that they were looking for people to take prisoners.

It was no big deal.

Don't believe what you saw with your own eyes.

And that is what I saw on OAN. (One America News)
