If you disagree with Trump, then you must be...

...a Never Trumper or a Trump hater or a Democrat, either one which would disqualify you from criticizing him? Got it?

Now he is trying to disqualify Robert Mueller's testimony in a couple of weeks, by calling him a "Never Trumper" and a "Trump hater". It was just a few weeks ago when he was praising Mueller for "totally exonerating" him? What happened between then and now?

Does he know something we don't know? Is Bob Mueller going to say something nobody has heard about or is he going to stick to his report? What could possibly be wrong with sticking to the report? Is he afraid it is going to be different from Bob Barr and Donald Trump's version?

Obviously, with his change of position on Mueller, he is trying to cover up and hide the truth from the American people. Otherwise, he would not criticize Mueller. If Mueller "exonerated" him, why is he so worried?

I know it will take a genius to figure that out...

Rush Limbawl says parade is going to be loud, proud, patriotic, and a celebration of freedom.

He gave examples of other military parades by other presidents, going back to 1938, and including Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Clinton.

But none of his examples were on July the 4th...

(I listened while on an errand but that was the gist of his propaganda today)

Democracy is messy.

It cannot function if people refuse to compromise.

It tests the resilience of a democracy when there is a "hyper-partisan" in the White House. If Donald Trump is anything, he is "hyper-partisan". He has managed to even make July 4th a partisan event.
He may be terrible at addition, but he is great at division.

A democracy is tied together by different interests compromising for a common goal. The basic goal is to keep the government at peace, and to provide for the general welfare of its people. We are all in the same boat. There are fragile threads that hold us together.

A democracy can be destroyed. It is not written in stone that a democracy is here forever. When issues are not resolved, such as immigration, race, abortion, religion, or foreign intervention, then the fabric starts to tear. The people become more and more divided.

The people must unite behind a certain idea in order to keep the democracy strong. July the 4th has always been one of those "ideas" that people have united behind. That was the day they would fly the flag and put "politics" aside.

Now, even that looks at risk.

Trump's test for "his" military.

He is doing this for a reason. He wants to see where the military opposition might come from? And what Generals will follow him without question?

In the event that he may need the military later, for different purposes, he wants to check their loyalty with this little parade in Washington. His intentions are not good.

How far will the military follow him down the road to a dictatorship? That is what this "parade" is about. It is not about celebrating America's freedom and independence.

The tanks are in Washington on the Fourth, but they may be in your town next?

This is not a trivial matter.

What's happening? Is this all part of the great "compromise"?

Trump and Putin have another secret meeting.

Trump announces he is going to have tanks in the Capitol for the 4th of July.

VP Pence is called back to Washington for an "emergency".

What's going on?

Is Donald Trump still being played by Vladimir Putin? Is this a distraction for something Russia is about to do?

What the hell is Donald Trump hiding??

The Great Compromise

July 2, 2019

July 4th is the one day of the year we should all be united to celebrate our country.

Donald Trump has found a way to divide people over July the Fourth!

It is not the day for us to celebrate our military - it is a day for us to celebrate our freedoms. Otherwise, the freedoms may not last much longer.

It is the work of a tyrant to attempt to put tanks in the city of Washington, DC.

Instead, we should be drinking beer and eating hotdogs. We should be talking to our neighbors over the fence. We should be flying our flags. We should be having fun with our families. We should be enjoying our national parks. We should appreciate the freedoms we have.

But, Trump wants to blame the Democrats for not wanting the tanks in our Capitol. They are un-American, he says. He seeks to divide.

Beware.

Philosopher's Stone

The Founders never meant for a president to have such powers.

Washington, Madison, and Jefferson would be rolling in their graves.

To even think that the Congress, duly-elected Representatives of the People, would submit to such a rule, was not something they ever wanted to see. After all, it was King George that brought them to declare their independence.

That is why we fought the Revolutionary War.

So, the so-called "President" wants to have a big celebration for our country on July 4th. He doesn't really care about celebrating the country. He wants to celebrate himself. King Donald. That's the bottom line.

He will order the military to surround him on that day. He wants tanks in the streets and fighter jets in the air. He wants to be the number one cheerleader for our military. It is the act of a tyrant. The kind that leads to a Revolution.

When a government no longer serves the people, but submits to the rule of a Leader, it is time to replace that government. The part of our government that is most dysfunctional at this time is the Legislature, the US Senate, led by Mitch McConnell and the Republicans, to be more specific. They are the first that should go.

They should face the consequences for their failure to represent the people.

We hope the American people are wise enough to defend what the Founders gave them.
