Elizabeth Holtzman, former Congresswoman from NY, said it would be a mistake...

...to only focus on this one impeachment charge about Ukraine.

Many Democrats are saying that it serves no purpose to re-litigate the election of 2016 and whether Russia influenced the results, or to re-hash the Mueller Report.

But Holtzman disagrees. She believes that this Congress should handle it the same way they did during Watergate. File all the articles of impeachment from the evidence gathered.

I would tend to agree with Holtzman that they should vote on all the dozen or so obstruction of justice charges. As well as the many times he has shown "abuse of power" of his office.

As well as bribery or extortion? As well as campaign violations. As well as espionage.

History should show the list of charges against him only reflects the criminal seriousness of his Administration.

Also, there is a danger, in my opinion, that if it is only about one issue, no matter how awful it might be, a good propagandist can find a way to defeat it if focused and given the opportunity to brainwash his followers.

I started with Channel 5 and went forward....

From NBC, to CBS, to ABC, to MSNBC, to CNN, to FOX...

The DNI has sent the whistleblower complaint over to the Congress!

..and Donald Trump's strategy is to try and monopolize the air time for the rest of the day. He has just met with the leader of El Salvador. He is attempting to keep the WB complaint from the public by greeting different leaders and giving speeches for the rest of the day. He has no other option.

The clock is ticking. His time is limited.

"Talking points" are Republican policies.

They have no ideas about how to make our country better.

Their only ideas are about how to respond to charges against them or their opponents with "talking points".

Whatever the issue might be, they have a talking point for it. They have great confidence in their ability to communicate and spin any issue, favorable or unfavorable, to their point of view.

That is why the first thing they did when this Ukraine issue came up, was to print out talking points for their side to use in spinning the story to their advantage.

Too bad, they screwed up and sent the talking points to the Democrats.

The "Smoking Gun" is the whistleblower's complaint.

Although the information in the memo released by the White House is devastating, Mr Trump believes he can spin his way out of it. His "what about" arguments and his deflections and his rumor-mongering will eventually make the phone call charge go away.

But, he cannot spin or make the whistleblower report go away so easily. That is why they will do everything in their power to keep it from being seen by anyone. It is just too much for anyone to process.

Trump has now been in office for almost three years but never found the time or the reason to investigate anyone about Ukraine, including the Bidens, until he discovered that Joe Biden may be the biggest threat to him keeping the White House and staying out of jail. It was never on his radar until now? So he creates another "Hillary email" rumor and spreads it around as if he had all the facts and evidence to convict in a court of law, when he has nothing but rumors and innuendo.

The real battle will be for the whistleblower's complaint. Trump and the Republicans cannot afford to let Congress see it. They want it to end right now with the memo of the transcript released this morning.

The truth has put on its shoes.

Is Trump being advised by Putin?

Trump is still trying to delay the military assistance to Ukraine. He is now using the excuse that Europe is not paying their fair share. Why is he so intent on delaying this assistance to Ukraine?

Did he make a promise to Vladimir Putin?

Even after all that has transpired in the last days, Trump still looks to be taking orders from Putin.

Investigate until they cry "Uncle!"

Uncovering the facts and educating the American people is more important than impeaching at this point, in my opinion.

There is no shortage of stuff to investigate. It is unfortunate that so many Americans are uneducated.

There will be more scandals to come. If Trump cannot get Ukraine to get dirt on his opponents, he will find someone else. He will not change any of his criminal habits.

If the Democrats get 218 votes for official impeachment inquiry, they have the threat of impeachment over Trump's head at all time. This gives them the balance of power they have been missing up to this point.

The Democrats should investigate everything, whether or not they put any of it in Articles of Impeachment. They need to show the American people exactly what they voted for. They should not feel constrained by any time limits. Investigate! Investigate! Investigate!

Democrats do not need to see any more transcripts from this White House.

They need to see the full whistleblower complaint.

They should settle for nothing less.

The full Senate voted unanimously for the release of the whistleblower complaint.

The people have a right to know.

Nobody wants to hear the "spin" from the Liar-in-Chief.

They cannot be permitted to try to cover up with lies and innuendo.

Facts are evidence - Rumors are hearsay

The Republicans and the Media need to understand the difference.

"Well, if you're gonna to investigate Trump, you have to investigate Biden".

No, you don't!

There is evidence from a whistleblower that there was some very disturbing information between the White House and the Ukraine president on a phone call. In fact, the IC IG agreed with the whistleblower that it was "URGENT" and a threat to our national security.

There is no such evidence in the rumors instigated by Trump and Giuliani and the Republican Party.

Give us facts. Don't give us rumors.

Ask yourself: Where is the evidence?

The media should know better by now.
