Through Others' eyes
Since I have become an ex pat, I have experienced how another part of the world views us and this situation.
They laugh at us. The wonder how we let a small group of traitors (yes you tea baggers) destroy the will of the majority, the courts and the will of the people. They scoff at the blatant lying, hypocrisy and racism they see emanating from the other side (yes you tea baggers) They stare with astonishment at viewing what is nothing more than a temper tantrum because they (yes you tea baggers) cant win a national election.
They are shocked that a program that will help so may people get the medical attention they need is ridiculed and hated by people who were elected to help people. They don't understand how these self proclaimed "Christians" don't live with christian morals and in fact most do the opposite.
They fear for us. They have seen our bloody past and wonder if their is another civil war coming to the US and with the proliferation of our gun culture they fear for the President and his family.
They pray for us, knowing the outcome of this situation will have a serious affect on us and ultimately on them selves.
It is interesting to see how closely these events in the US are followed so close by the rest of the planet.
