Joanne Fabric Free mask kits.

In addition to kits, the website has very clear video instructions on making a mask.

We are on the brink of culling the herd. The Trial balloons are up. In order

to save jobs and the economy, 'some' people will have to die and it only makes sense that they should be the oldest and least productive among us and, of course, the folks who don't belong here. Listen to what FOX is saying and think about what Trump is threatening to do 14 days from now. Steve Miller is rubbing his hands together and giggling.

Tony Fauci and Deborah Birx each have a big decision to make tonight. The real estate developer,

turned reality show star, turned president is now practicing medicine and plugging a drug that can be dangerous if not fatal and which has not been tested for use on Covid-19. Not showing up for press conferences with the Quack-in-Chief is not enough. Face palms are not enough. He and Dr. Birx can roll or bat their eyes all they want but that will not excuse them for standing behind this man and, by doing so, endorsing his insanity. These two people have to examine their consciences and consider the legacies they want to leave. They need to catch the train and leave this macabre circus. They need to do this now because the shit is going to hit the fan very soon and they will do more good on the outside...they will be ruined if they stay where they are.

At the next press conference, maybe reporters should

address their questions to specific professionals and bypass Trump altogether. I wonder if that would work. They could say something like "Thank you, Mr. President, I have a question for _______."

Two thoughts for DU...

or maybe more than 2.

People who don't have the credentials to give health advice shouldn't give it.
People who don't have the credentials to give financial advice i.e. the stock market, shouldn't give it.
If people can't help themselves, then they should make clear that they don't have the credentials and it's merely their personal opinion.

There's enough bad information swirling around (starting with the WH) we don't need to add to it on DU.

There are tons of people out there who are worried, we don't need to turn that worry into panic. We owe it to our DU community to stay calm and rational during this difficult time.

This virus is like a tornado watch/warning for me.

I know it's coming and if it hits me it will be catastrophic. I'm just watching and waiting and hoping it will pass me by. In the meantime, I'm making all prudent preparations that I can. I'm going to be talking with my son this morning about his and my granddaughter's weekly visits. I'm thinking that we should suspend those for a while, until we see what happens with the local school system. My son and I can keep our "social distance" but it's hard for a 6 year old.

I watch President Pandemic with the same disgusted fascination that I did 6 months ago...like watching a train wreck...except now I'm either on the train or trying to cross the tracks...I'm not just a spectator anymore.

I want cats, I want dogs, I want sweet

stories of rescues and happy endings and wonderful human beings and loving, grateful animals! I think the Lounge should decree that Catbyte is forbidden to leave the country.

I didn't realize how much I missed this particular poster until they were gone.
