What is this "formerly known as Twitter" crap?

I keep noticing that almost every news article or op ed contains that phrase when referring to X. I see that as an effort to boost Musk's failing attempt to replace Twitter. Am I wrong? If I'm right, why such deference to that madman?

Trump's defense is going to be that he never actually told anyone to do

anything wrong, that all these other people were acting on their own. The only direct evidence that he told someone to break the law was the taped phone call to the Georgia SoS.

That is my worry this morning. Please tell me where I'm wrong.

I don't think that Jack Smith has played all his cards. There apparently were a number of

warrants issued in the documents case and I'm betting that some of them were for wire taps. Some of Trump's employees may have been wired. I'm reminded of that children's poem "Come into my parlor said the spider to the fly." I think Smith is going to let Trump continue to blather his way right into prison.

The flood in the server room... I didn't see anything about that in the new

indictment. Is Jack Smith still chasing that down or is he holding that out for later?

I didn't see Melenia get off that plane in Miami. Where is she?

Judge Cannon should recuse herself and then join the Witness Protection Program. There

are no good options for someone like her. If she recuses, the MAGATs will threaten her life, if she hears the case fairly, the MAGATs will threaten her life. If she hears the case and favors Trump, Jack Smith will dice her up into little pieces. No good choices for her. Another life that Trump has ruined.

I have a question about the copies of the classified documents that Trump had...

Where are the originals?

We should not be applauding the use of drones on civilians by our side of any side just because

the Russians have used them.

I think Trump has decided that if he is going to go down, he's

going to go down in flames. Like a suicide bomber. He'll take the Country, his family, his friends and his enemies with him. Trump was pushing the line the other night on CNN. The admissions of guilt that he made were meant to be a challenge to see how far he could go. If he is stopped, he will burn it all down.

Just my opinion for what it's worth.
