Those who support the GOP anyway, and who would vote for wrongney - who would...
...send them and many of their friends and a lot of younger people back into war. At least one. Maybe two. OR more, considering that he's got the warmongers and PNAC refugees advising him on foreign policy! 
...who would cut their benefits because for God's Sake, we CAN'T ask the multi-millionaires to cough up ANY more!
...who regards them as moochers because they're among the 47% who don't pay income taxes.
...who hasn't served, took the champagne trip to Paris to be a "missionary" while the other young men his age were shipped off to Vietnam. (And whose father never served, nor his grandfather - who moved the whole family out of the country just so he could continue to have the "freedom" to shtup any additional women he wanted).
...who has not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE, COUNT 'EM, FIVE sons who are young, healthy, able-bodied, and VERY capable of giving a few years of their youth to the service of their country - and they've ALL refused.
...who has consistently badmouthed, lied about, and condemned the ONE President who, along with his wife, has made veterans' concerns a TOP personal priority of his administration, and whose wife has singlehandedly led a campaign to focus on and help military FAMILIES. Hey, I'm not in the military, and I too never served or seen combat or worn my country's uniform, but even I feel it's a personal slap in the face when I see polls that indicate veterans go for wrongney. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY THINKING???????????
...who has consistently badmouthed, lied about, and condemned the ONE President who's actually called a halt to a VERY stupid, useless, wasteful, morally wrong, and illegal war in Iraq (while wrongney seems to want to crank that abortion back up again)!
That last two, I just do not get. Those veterans who turn their backs on this President after what he - AND the First Lady - have done for them. They AND THEIR LONG IGNORED AND NEGLECTED FAMILIES finally have a hands-on, activist, and highly committed advocate in the White House and this is how they show their appreciation??????

Welcome to DU, courseofhistory! I think it's called Sore Loserman Syndrome.
That's what this whole three-and-a-half year nightmare with the damn teabaggers and birthers and all the rest of the inmates in this asylum has been about. We saw it during the two Clinton terms. What they hated, simply put, is that one of THEIRS did not win the White House. It's what I call the World's Biggest Entitlement Program: the attitude of the republi-CONS that the White House is somehow just automatically THEIRS. By birthright or some divine fiat or some such thing. THEY alone are entitled to the White House, to the reins of power, to the top of the ziggurat in Washington DC. They ALONE.
And when the universe does not conform to this divine dictate, all is LOST! Hellfire and damnation stampedes across our land! Well, actually, the wrath of the adult-size three-year-old tantrum-throwing snot-noses in the teabag nation, neoCONS, republi-CONS, libertarians, birthers, Focus on the Pharisees, Ladies for Women, and whatever-the-hell else they're calling themselves these days. We've seen a belly-full of that crap, and that acting-out. It's adult-size tantrum-throwing. I'm surprised they're not all out there stamping their little feetsies and holding their breath until they turn blue (OOPS! Can't do that! And be thought of as a Democrat?????).
They've fooled themselves into believing that THEY ALONE, CONservatives, whites, majority-male, are somehow superior beings blessed with a Divine Right to Rule. An inferior dares not aspire to their lofty heights. And when Barack Obama did, and proved he was superior to them in EVERY way from intellectually to morally to ethically, well - that was just HORRID! The END of the WORLD!!! I WANT MY AMERICA BACK!!! Well, what they think is "THEIR America" is a cruel joke, a mirage, painted for them with disappearing ink by the CONs in the media and the think tanks and the upper levels of the 1% where public policy is determined and influenced and where the real money is and where the real money talks AWFULLY LOUDLY. These evil assholes are exploiting this anger and outrage for their own political ends.
Just one big fat oozing ICK. A big vile putrid pus-filled, selfish, UN-Christian, UN-American, UN-patriotic ICK, and the biggest spoiled sports I've ever seen outside of a Trump Tower play-date. They're also, if you really wanna know, guilty of treason - if anyone in power really wanted to push it. They're attempting NON-STOP obstruction of the Commander-in-Chief DURING WARTIME. That's TREASON.
I hope they all get the ever-lovin' snot beaten out of them in November.

They finally had enough of him on MSNBC (where he was WOEFULLY mis-cast and DID NOT belong), so where does he wind up? And why am I not surprised? You don't get a do-over on the Civil War, you racist bunghole, regardless how much you long for it. And too damn bad if the non-whites are starting to outnumber your precious WASPs. Times are changing and populations are shifting and demographics are evolving, and Neanderthals like you, buchanan, are just gonna have to get over it.
Try joining the 21st Century when you have a few spare minutes, pat.
And ALWAYS, when saying the name "republi-CON" use your face as well. A curl of the lip or a frown
or some facial expression to underscore, visually, what you just said audibly. VISUALS. Important in this kind of country where almost everyone processes information visually.
I remember watching ghwb do that kind of thing at the republi-CON CONvention when he was either running on his own or for another term with reagan. EVERY time he uttered the word "liberal," he made a face. A very slight face. It was VERY subtle. Just an ever so slight curl of the lip. But YOU CONVEY FURTHER MEANING when you do that!!!! I can't tell you HOW MANY times I heard or participated in discussions about news anchoring and reporting - both on camera and on mic. How a single arched brow at a key word or phrase conveys ALL KINDS of extra meaning for you, that you don't have to flat-out say with your words. Especially if maybe you're in the kind of job where you're not supposed to stick your own opinions into any ol' place or story that comes by. So it becomes VERY important how an anchor would tilt his or her head, or which way the corners of his/her mouth turned up upon utterance of some word or phrase, how they'd sit, whether they'd sit straight or lean forward, etc. You add meaning to your words with little tricks like that. The way you stand conveys all kinds of shit - posture, how your feet are positioned, what you're doing with your hands, do you tend to lick your lips after you say something? LOTS of ways to add extra meaning.
And you can do it on the radio too with the way you use your voice - emphasis, inflection, a hint of snicker or laughter, a strategic pause, loads of little devices. And those little devices are devious (AHA! Lookie there - both words start with the same first syllable!) and they're almost invisible. And that's how they work. Totally subliminally. But the MESSAGE is conveyed. And most people don't even realize they're taking delivery on these messages. They don't realize all the complex scents they're breathing in.
You can start tainting the word "republi-CON." See, I can't even type it another way anymore! But you can start adding a - um - shall we say "pungency" to the word. Always an unpleasant word. Because it's an unpleasant concept. So it's not even fun to say the name anymore. When you always make a VERY slight face (VERY slight, so it doesn't look like a device of some sort, like you did it deliberately - even though you are!) when you say this word, whoever you're with will get the message that the word is unpleasant. May not even matter why. It's just UNPLEASANT.
That's how you start poisoning the well. Let's take THEIR name and RUN WITH IT!!! Run AMOK with it, that is!
