And a total phony. This just adds to his "story." Remember, he's not an officially board-certified

eye doctor, either.

Oh, he can CLAIM that he is, alright. Because he is "certified" by the so-called National Board of Ophthalmology. But when you drill down about a millimeter's worth, you discover that the National Board of Ophthalmology is a cardboard cutout he made up, to certify himself. There is, of course, the recognized and official industry standard, the AMERICAN Board of Ophthalmology, but he couldn't be bothered with that one. I suppose it's because he regards himself so highly that no one but himself is worthy of assessing his qualifications? Or another one of these dumb-ass "nobody tells ME what to do..." attitudes on display?

This has been out, already. I even had a thread about it fairly recently - after I stumbled on it, again, fairly recently. I had not known of this back in 2010 - which is when these links originated. I'm just bringing 'em back so that we can keep the FULL picture in mind. It just becomes clearer and clearer.

This last one opens with:
"The eye doctor isn’t properly certified? Dr. Kent Sepkowitz on Paul’s slick end-run around the profession’s licensing rules—and what it tells you about the kind of politician he is." MAN, no kidding!!! Just another sneaky little slicky-boy just trying to game the system if you ask me. And it is VERY telling about his character, and quite an accurate measure of the "man" here.

Knowing how he demonstrably likes to play fast and loose, is it any wonder he's been plagiarizing everything but a toilet paper package wrapper, and has now back and tried to get rid of the evidence after the truth got out?

Hey voters, WHAT DOES THIS TELL YOU ABOUT THIS SLICK LITTLE WEASEL?

Hey, Kentucky, would you trust YOUR precious irreplaceable eyes to this man? How fast-and-loose would he play with you? How many corners would he cut with YOUR eyes? Since we have that well-established, how do you think that'd play out in other ways he "does business"? Why would you trust your government to this man? And now the plagiarism scandal. Wonder what else he's been up to that's not on the up-n-up? Would you be okay with Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton doing this? Would THAT be okay with you too, since obviously this stuff doesn't seem to bother you?

I swear, this guy just stinks worse and worse by the day. And frankly, so do most of the voters of Kentucky if this is what they saw fit to send to Washington. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Glad BOTH of you are with us!

Kicking for this post in particular!

He's a bully. Sorry, but I just don't warm to "in-yer-face." I don't like that personality trait or technique or whatever you call it. Confrontational just for the sake of being confrontational. He's unfortunately a master at "in-yer-face." It's NEVER been appealing to me - I find it extremely off-putting. And I'd sure as hell hate to have to deal with it for four-to-eight years. Loudmouthed in-yer-face bullying lout. Oh gee, just what I'm looking for. People mistake this kind of always-on-offense poking-the-finger-in-yer-face thuggish, loutish behavior as some sort of folksy common-touch "plain-speaking" schtick. And it's just bullshit. He's nothing but a bully on a much bigger playground. And lots of weaklings are falling in love with him. Like chris matthews, for one. A street-weenie always looking for the toughie to sidle up to so he won't get smacked around by the neighborhood punks and ruffians.

He scares the daylights out of me!

I certainly haven't given up! But the trends I see are discouraging indeed!

But dear HappyMe of New York - you should definitely maintain your militancy even if you're not in Texas! Doesn't matter! Have you donated to somebody's campaign there? Here's what I told the Heidi Heitkamp people in North Dakota (and other House and Senate people in other states than mine - California):

"I realize that I'm not from North Dakota. HOWEVER, she was VERY happy to take my California money when her Senate campaign was soliciting donations! Therefore, that entitles me to call you now. As one of her donors and benefactors, I DO INDEED have a right to weigh in now, and to let her know I'm not happy with ... (fill in the blank here. In that particular case, it was her disgusting statement of absolutism on ABC's "This Week" program, I think, shortly after the Newtown tragedy, about not outlawing people's precious fucking assault weapons)."

If you EVER donated to any of these out-of-state campaigns, if you've got relatives or close friends or other loved ones living in that state, if YOU used to live in that state, then dammit, you DO have EVERY right to be heard! ESPECIALLY as a campaign donor. I figure - if they take your money, then that's the price THEY have to pay. And I would mention that UP TOP, within your very first breath, if you call 'em up to register your opinion. If they took my money, then they're gonna hear from me. Otherwise, don't accept my out-of-state donation.

Besides, once they leave North Dakota or Texas or anywhere else and go to Washington, that then makes them EVERYBODY'S property. That makes them national. Because they then have to work with other Senators and Congresspeople and staffers across state lines, and they do need to be reminded that there are other issues at play here, too - on which they're damn well expected to perform to your satisfaction and take your issues into account. ESPECIALLY IF THEY TOOK YOUR MONEY.

DO NOT LET THEM SHUT YOU OUT. Especially if they accepted your money for their campaign coffers.

HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE ANYWAY!!!!

Just so cool, SCE! Love these! Hard to pick a favorite here - they're all great!

Do like the Ewe Tube cartoon, and the little foxes though!

Well, some of us are damn tired of HIM! And his damn bullying.

I don't happen to find in-yer-face attractive. I don't find bullying attractive. I don't find being a lout for the sake of being a lout attractive. He's not some "breath-of-fresh-air" "no-bullshit" "plain-talker." He's a fucking bully. DAMN I hope he gets his comeuppance. Too many people are enthralled by him - I know not why.

Welcome to DU, ybbor!

Glad you're here! Wasn't that exceptional? I feel SO bad for the teachers of this country - how THEY are being targeted and blamed, when they're given so few resources. Teaching to the test. Yeah, THAT'S sure gonna make us competitive in and on the world markets.

Seems to me that's tantamount to approved cheating. It seems no different from that scene in "Animal House" where Bluto and D-Day were dumpster-diving for the carbon paper that had been used to copy the final exams so they could study merely to pass the test. Of course, that's the kind of "educational advancement" of which george w bush was a huge proponent. Figures. Look what a "bright light" he was.

Probably drop to the ground. Preferably BEHIND something. And call 911.

And yeah, I have thought about it. Scary. Disgraceful that it's even something well-worth thinking about. It's a damn shame that this can happen, and DOES. I mean, how many shootings is this - since just, well, say, Newtown, CT? Is this many in almost a year's time still an okay number of 'em - before we finally decide something definitive simply HAS TO be done (and maybe make it as hard to come by a gun as it now is to vote, for example).

A friend of mine was previously going to come through LAX today, before having to change to a different flight on a different day. Today! I just departed and arrived through there last weekend. YES certainly living one's life in fear is no way to live. True. But why not just be observant? I have friends who always make note of the exits wherever they go. First thing they do is scan for the exits whenever they enter someplace. Just because. If I remember to, I do also. Also good in case of fire, btw.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
