Maybe we need to push them. I'm gonna start tweeting every media person I can think of.

Found THIS, too, which might serve quite nicely:

Win or lose TrumpTV is set to become the Propaganda Arm of Donald Trump spewing lies & controlling access to only those that toe his line! Should the unthinkable prevail & Trump wins, it could be the end of Corporate Media which would be IRONIC indeed!

Contact the Presidents of the Networks — Deborah Turness @DeborahTurness -NBC News

James Goldston @jamesgoldston -ABC News DavidGrayRhodes @DavidGrayRhodes -CBS News

Jeff Zucker -email- jeff.zucker@turner.com, Phil Griffin MSNBC email to Phil.Griffin@nbcuni.com

Demand REAL NEWS accountability & fairness or BOYCOTT THEM ALL!

I do, too, onetexan.

Karma will always have the last word. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNG time.

I'd love to see his ass behind bars, and sooner than later. I wonder if they try to cut deals for themselves by roping Chris Christie in on this, too. Which is as it should be!

Unfortunately for her, yes. She stepped up. By doing so, she's no longer a noncombatant.

Dear Melania - once you stick your head up out of the foxhole, dearie, you're in the war. You got involved. You're out there in public making a high-profile speech supporting your candidate-husband. You didn't keep your head down and stay home with your kid. You stepped up, and forward, and out in the wide-open. You ARE part of it, girlfriend. And you ARE fair game.

Welcome to DU, onetexan!

True enough. Funny, though, how many pundits have stated that "you couldn't make this up" and "if somebody wrote a script about this, nobody would believe it."

Truth is often stranger than fiction.

I would LOVE-LOVE-LOVE to see Giuliani knocked on his smug sneaky manipulative scheming ass. Maybe somebody should start looking into Giuliani Partners, his company, to see if it's all on the up-n-up.

When I saw the title of the OP, I instinctively thought

"... cuz he had to go make another out-of-town stump speech."

Welcome to DU, NC Civilian!

Glad you're checking in! I'm assuming "NC" means North Carolina, and that does seem to be quite the center of attention these days. May you go Blue! It'll help us all!

Welcome to DU, egeorgequi!

I think that same thing, every day. Even more earnestly since Trump started insinuating how those "2nd Amendment people" might - heh-heh-heh, wink-wink "take care of things" for us...

That's all she's ever thinking: "How can we make this better?"

Yet another "listening tour" - which has become her hallmark. Fact-finding. Lawyers call it "due diligence." Seems to me that's a mighty effective strategy for anyone who presumes to be a public servant. Which a Senator is. Which a President is, too.

That's something I've always admired about her, ever since I first started learning about her in 1992. I like how she's willing to get down into the weeds on something - an issue, a problem, a situation, a crisis, a need. For the purpose of understanding whatever it is - as fully and completely as possible. She's never hesitated to roll up her sleeves and dive in. Do ALL the wonk work, the nerd work. Making sure she knows as much as possible about whatever it is. She's like a walking, talking data base. When I read the LA Times interview with her during primary season, I was floored. Thought I "got" her already but I was wrong. I could feel myself growing more and more incredulous. She knew everything about every public policy and foreign policy they threw at her, including one particular matter involving some kid who had an obscure disease with a name that was, I think, six or seven syllables long. She knew about it, knew about the kid, knew about the status of research so far, and had been following his case. "CRIMINY," I mumbled, "is there NOTHING this woman doesn't know?"

That's why it never mattered to me when she discussed why she changed her mind on TPP, for example. What if it's not a politically-motivated flipflop? What if it's exactly what she said? That "you get more information." "You get new information." Why shouldn't you adjust your thinking on one matter or other, once you get new input about it that genuinely could change things? Don't we want that in a leader? Isn't that what we'd want a President to do? I like that about her. I like that A LOT.

I've said it before - I want those brains in the Oval Office.

GREAT stuff being expressed out there!

I LOVE this! I'm making myself a copy!

I guess you can say one thing about this utterly-most-disgusting-and-fucked-election-this-63-year-old-female-voter's-ever-witnessed election: it brings out the eloquence of expression!

I just now saw a tweet that said:

"You don't date Obama for 8 long beautiful years to dump him for the jerk on the corner who fondles you as you wait for the train to work."

TOTALLY!!!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
