I liked him, too, but felt he needed a broader resume, but he's young! He's got TIME!

And potential! And I think Joe Biden recognizes that.

My first choice was Jay Inslee, because Inslee was/is MASSIVELY on environmental issues as I am, and seemed to be the only candidate who was, til he bowed out. Then I went directly to the Biden camp.

Truth! Joe's just starting to staff up. I trust him to pick good people, including Mayor Pete!

And I trust Joe Biden to do what he promised as far as African Americans in high places. He's already proving that he knows talent and can make some really great choices - in background, experience, and smarts, as well as diversity. He's already picked our first African American UN Ambassador. And has everyone already forgotten he has a Vice President who he picked - a SECOND IN COMMAND - and FIRST Person Of Color - in Kamala Harris??? Hello???

Have we really forgotten about her already? Seriously? As we learned in Catholic school - "Oh ye of little faith..."

JEEZ, people! Give him time!!!

Points VERY well-taken.

Let's boil it down. "It's NOT UP TO YOU."

YOU have NOTHING to do with it.

It's not YOUR blood relation.
It's not YOUR body.
It's not YOUR medical condition.
It's not YOUR life.
It's not YOUR job.
It's not YOUR family dynamic.
It's not YOUR ability to afford or not to afford.
It's not YOUR circumstances OR YOUR personal problem.

Just what is it about a woman's right to control what happens to HER body, in HER life, and in HER unique, personal, and VERY private circumstances and problems that YOU don't get?

And if YOU force her to carry that baby to term, are YOU going to step up and make sure she has the resources or the support system to make a go of it with that baby? Or that she can make all the arrangements for an adoption? What if there's nowhere she can go to get help - because YOU voted to cut funding to services that she'd need in a situation like this - because YOU didn't want to pay taxes?

Or are YOU going to step up and adopt that baby and fork over all the money it'll take - AND all the TIME it'll take - to raise that baby and provide everything it'll need? Are YOU ready to make all those sacrifices?

And what's that YOU say - that YOU'RE "pro-life"?
