calimary's JournalHey some of us were paying attention when he was governor.
And as usual, nobody listened to us. He was just a little too "adorable" for words. OR for even a near-miss of a whiff of critical thinking.
Welcome to DU, Taurusny22!
Glad you're here. Wish your dog were here too. I hope you find him. Damn! Keeping good thoughts for you and him.
Aw man… didn't you always hold out hope that they'd find a way toward each other?
That was a pretty yummy one.
Don't really wanna hijack this thread but I could go on about "Star Trek" episodes all day
\\ //,
Congrats! Don't let 'em talk over you or interrupt
or otherwise bigfoot you. You have good points to make!
YAY!!!! That's wonderful news!
YAY!!!! It's amazing how those births kinda jump at you. When I went on maternity leave, I thought I had at least two weeks more - just to get off my feet and catch up on some rest from a VERY demanding job. No dice. My daughter had other plans. So did my body. I went to what I thought was just another prenatal appointment and the doctor checked me out and frowned at the results and said - "uh - meet you at the hospital at 2pm. You're having this baby TODAY." I was thoroughly toxemic and the pregnancy could not go the full distance. Due date? What due date?
Mine, too. I gravitate toward the romance ones.
The Miramanee one.
The one where Spock falls in love with Jill Ireland (the planet with the spores).
"AMOK TIME"!!!!! OH YEAH!!!! And also the one with Mark Lenard and Jane Wyatt as Spock's parents.
The Edith Keeler one.
"The Menagerie."
And of course, "The Trouble with Tribbles."
And did I mention "Amok Time"?
We were binge-watching the original "Star Trek" over the weekend and the Miramanee one
was among them!
And calimary responded "well, FUCK YOU, BACK!!!"
