My condolences on the passing of your dad. Thank God we have our critters to provide comfort. Mighty glad you have yours! Both my parents suffered a long slow lingering - and very painful - decline. Sometimes I wonder if a sudden departure would have been more merciful, all around - but for them, in particular.

Many hugs, my friend. You do not mourn alone. Certainly not if you share your heartbreak in a place like here. And especially with a “fur baby” to cuddle, as well.

To me, he’s just pathetic.

But he got his mug back on TV alright. Failed miserably out of CNN after Jon Stewart ate his breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snack. Failed miserably out of MSNBC (where he DIDN’T belong in the first place) after several tries. Then wandered in the wilderness til he got the idea of starting his own little internet power base (The Daily Caller). And bless his little pointed head, he used that platform to get back on TV where he evidently thinks he’s entitled to dwell.

At least he finally jettisoned the obvious (and totally deliberate) affectation - that ridiculous bow tie.
