Help me, Obama-kenobi. You're our only hope...

We need you to help fellow Jedi-mocrat Joe SkyBiden in the battle upcoming...

NO ONE should ever have to bury a child or a grandchild.

They're supposed to outlive us. THEY, the younger generations, are supposed to bury US, their elders. It's not supposed to be the other way around.

Yeah. Just let that sit for a moment.

Maybe it's because I'm a mom. I wind up thinking of what those obscene numbers mean in terms of how many mothers who are crying over a lost loved one. Someone they care dearly about, but can't be near to offer comfort as death nears. Friends they can't have around them for support. Denied a solemn service of memory and grieving and attempted closure, where friends, family, and other loved ones almost literally cling to each other for solace. I always think about some mother out there, crying. That mere flat cold number is her child, her spouse, her parent or grandparent, her brother or sister, stolen away too soon.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
