That's an insult to marshmallows everywhere.

HE'S an insult to marshmallows everywhere.

I still think she got that job because she's a real looker.

I still think trump fancies making her a conquest. He likes having attractive women around him because it probably makes him feel virile. And he fancies taking them to bed. Especially her.

The first time I got a look at her, what crossed my mind was "he wants to ball her. Maybe hasn't had the opportunity, but I bet he sure wants to."

This part was interesting. Not to mention doubt-provoking.

Toward the end.

Clapper is also critical of Republican congressional leaders for refusing to sign a bipartisan statement condemning Russian meddling in 2016.

"House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said they would not support a bipartisan statement that might hurt their nominee for president," Clapper writes in an excerpt of the book published by NPR. "I was disappointed but not surprised. It seemed they had decided by then that they didn't care who their nominee was, how he got elected or what effects having a foreign power influence our election would have on the nation, as long as they won."

A spokeswoman for Ryan and McConnell denied Clapper's claims, and in a stament to Newsweek said “Mr. Clapper has his facts wrong. What was discussed with the White House staff in September was a letter to the states warning against attacks during the election, which was quickly drafted and sent on September 28th."

WHEN did they send such a letter? And to WHOM? Who received it? Any reaction? Did they say something - ANYTHING? Was there ANY coverage? ANYTHING in the news? I don't remember hearing a single thing about this back then. Is anybody in a position to receive such a letter back then still in that position? Could they confirm this? Produce the letter? If not, what happened to such a letter? Who has it now? And why hasn't this leaked? I'll quote one of Mike Pence's favorite responses: "This is the first I've heard of it." But in my case, it's the truth.

And other questions come up, now, about this purported letter sent to the states about the fucking Russians messing with our election: This letter - who wrote it? Who distributed it? How was it "sent" to the states? Assuming there was such a letter sent to the states, were the recipients told to keep it quiet? Told by whom? And why were they told to keep it quiet - if indeed there was such a letter distributed to the states? Any reasons given for not making this public? What were those reasons? Who gave the order to tell the states to keep this quiet? And why?

WUNNNNNNderful story, Lunabell.

An uplifting story for a down-in-the-dumps time. Just when we need one or two - or several thousand.

I suppose an argument could be made that we actually ARE at war with Russia -

depending on how you define war in the first quarter of the 21st century. If you're talking about conventional bang-bang/boom-boom/rockets-red-glare/heavy artillery kind of war, then okay.

But if you're talking about WHAT HAPPENED HERE, cyber-warfare that actually could be described as staging a coup, as we'll probably see war evolve toward (if indeed it's not already underway), then it certainly fit the parameters of treason.

He's a freakin' TRAITOR, at the very least.

Depends on how you define "war."

Holy Freakin' Shit...

Sigh... still my president, too.

Otherwise, I really don't have a president at the moment. The rightful winner in 2016 was denied her rightful place in the Oval Office. The Cheater-in-Chief squats there for now.

It's almost physically sickening to think what kind of America we'd have now, for ourselves and in the eyes of the rest of the world (yeah, that means YOU, TOO, Russia). I'm sure all the women-haters would be at full throat. But they would never have had their big fat yellow Fake Pitchman megaphone to bring out the worst, deep down, probably suppressed for a lifetime, in themselves AND, worse, to be validated for it.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
