About Me

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.

Great graphic. Putin and his two wholly-owned subsidiaries.

And you can't wait and just presume the 2020 vote will take care of everything.

Not with the Russians still deeply involved and more motivated than ever to protect their asset.

Itís just plain NAIVE to assume that we can just vote him out in 2020. I wouldnít bet on that. Even as hard as I still plan to work, to ensure that we do.

One of my favorite recent quotes comes from a pretty goofy source.

But I still love it and it rings as true as can be:

Michael Avenatti: ďthose who have nothing to hide - hide nothing.Ē

We all stayed with Goldie. She laid down against my leg, and went to sleep.

It was so odd. I couldnít cry. Iíd been crying off Ďní on for several days beforehand and continuing lo almost two weeks later.

But as it was happening, I was totally dry-eyed. Wasnít expecting that. She went out so peacefully. Iím glad we could do that for her. I wish we humans could all have it that way too.

Yes. Sure looks like it.

Welcome to DU, elevator48!

I just wish we could raise human consciousness PERIOD. We're pretty stuck in lizard-brain mode at the moment.

She's the prissy busybody who demanded to know if Hillary was in her bedroom alone.

It was during the 11-hour Benghazi inquisition during which Hillary actually laughed out loud at Robyís question.

Because there is evidently a majority of loons allowed to vote in his district.

Probably trying to get it into the record.

Neither can I, catbyte.

Itís marred my relationship with a close friend. ďYou voted for trump...Ē goes off like an air horn in my brain every time I think of this person, or have a conversation or even text messages with this person.

I canít get past that. Itís colored everything. Blanketed everything. Itís like Harry Potterís Sorting Hat for me. Either you voted for trump or you didnít vote for trump. It divides the universe for me. Probably always will.

Thereís a mark on their souls.
