I guess it would depend on which of his several conflicting explanations you'd be willing to buy.

Glad they didn't. Glad the prosecutors this time did their jobs, and went after those conflicting stories he told. He was angry and shot. He was scared and shot. The gun discharged accidentally. His excuses were all over the place. I was afraid, seeing some of the coverage including his "tearful" testimony and his purported sorrow over taking his victim's life, that the jury would fall for it. They DIDN'T!!!!!! I'm almost shocked that this one went the way it was supposed to, the way it seemed mighty clear what the results should be. I was expecting to lose another one. So glad it turned out this way!!!!! SOME justice done. Won't bring her back, but it will put him away, at least for awhile.

MAN! For ONCE! The prosecutors AND the jury did the correct thing. He took the law into his own hands, shoot first/ask questions later. And at least for this one asshole, that didn't work. Too bad it didn't go this way for Trayvon Martin's murderer.

GREAT song!

Used to play it on my college radio show. LOVED Ten Years After! Used to put it with Thunderclap Newman afterwards.

What bobthedrummer said!

Oh and one more thing. Hey wolfie - YOU FIRST. You out there agitating for America to go back into Iraq? YOU FIRST. Sign up, suit up, and ship out. The sooner the better. Go see what you did. And deal with it first-hand.

You two sound like my husband!

And I agree with our First Lady, too.

Awww... such a sweet story.

They went together.

I'm noticing her wrinkles. Still seriously beautiful even in her advanced age - she looks like she spent a lifetime smiling! Him, too. Look at his laugh lines.

May they both rest in peace, and sleeping right next to each other.

THIS^^^.

Should be in the Constitution of the United States, or at least the Bill of Rights, in my opinion!

That's exactly what they're doing. They think they can force the Hand of God.

They think they can MAKE Jesus come back. On THEIR schedule. Not His.

That's not what the Bible tells us, btw. NO ONE may know the hour. THAT'S what the Bible says.

But the james watts of the world (reagan's industry-sympathizer, free-market-jizzmaster, fundamentalist "Christianist" "interior" secretary - GOD FORBID!!!!) sat there at that Congressional hearing I will NEVER forget as I watched - and wide-eyed and dead-serious, stated "when the last tree is felled, Jesus will come back."

THAT was the mentality brought to the Interior Department by that Beast-of-Beasts, ronald reagan. HIDEOUS!!!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
