About Me

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.

He's got genuine Everyman appeal.

How can you not like him?

Massively appealing and totally accessible at the same time.

YES!!! Repetition is an absolute!

That IS the key!

Yep! ALL of this!

And as far as that obsession with the “grooming” thing.

Perhaps that behavior is a signal that they’re REALLY obsessed with it … for many reasons, all of them sinister.

Definitely! DO NOT save it for the last moment, when voting decisions are baked in.

Do it early and relentlessly so THAT’S what nestles in and has time to take root.

And they're not nearly as sneaky and conniving, either.

There are times when I wish our side had some of that, gotta admit.

I'd wonder how technologically sophisticated those in the

chain of custody are (or whatever the term is).

Would they all do some sort of super-wipe? Or would a mere “delete” mean there are “leftovers” somewhere?

Some people are really sneaky and conniving, but not everybody is. And some people are technological wizards, but not everybody is in that case either. I’d wonder where and who the weakest link is, and how to access it.

OY! My sincere condolences!

Well, a super-deluxe shithole party.

That’s what kind.

I especially like your "believing a lie does not make it true"!

That should live long and prosper on bumper stickers everywhere!

Hey, G2theD! Welcome to DU!

Nice to meet you, Gregory!

Glad to have you with us! I am pretty much addicted to this site. Lapsed Catholic grandma relocated from SoCal to the Portland Oregon area. Sounds like we share a lot of your bucket list priorities. Lots of kindred spirits here.

I think you’ll like it here!
