About Me

I truly believe that we will all live in peace and brotherhood someday. And so that I don't lose my faith in humanity, I will live my life as if that day had already happened.

Monday Night Ginger Beer Buzz. I have tomorrow off. Don't judge me!

Friday Night Vodka Buzz.

How's everyone doing tonight?

Two very strong Moscow Mules and a bottle of ginger beer. Feeling fine...

I love you all...

Hey! I just noticed I broke 40,000 posts! Hell, it only took me sixteen years.

I still marvel that there are DU-ers with over 100,000 posts. I don't know how they do it...

I saw Chris De Burgh in concert in Calgary last week. He laid into Trump pretty hard.

There was a huge international audience at the venue, and they laughed at his mockery of Trump. I don't know how many Americans were in the audience besides me and my sister and brother. But we cringed a bit.

After the show, I was able to meet CdeB's guitarist and keyboardist. I asked them to take a message back to Chris. I told them I we were from the US, and we hate Trump, too. We're embarrassed and ashamed, and can't wait for him to be gone.

Anyway, great concert. Lots of songs about the tragedy of international conflict, and about the hope of a peaceful future. Standard Chris De Burgh stuff.

Dear Great Britain: We love John Oliver. You can't have him back.

The Official DU Lounge 'Cheer Up Aristus' thread.

Go on.

Anything.

Anything you think will cheer me up.

Anything...

I see all the 'thoughts and prayers' offered in the wake of the last mass shooting really helped.

High-fives all around, thinkers and prayers...

Random fun fact: Donald Duck's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. In Spanish their names are:

Hugo, Paco, and Luis

Just thought you should know...
