I must be getting old. Even brunch is exhausting.

I met some old PA Schoolmates for brunch this morning. Had a great couple of hours, eating, drinking, and catching up.

Drove home from Seattle, and the balance of the day has been just recovery.

On the upside, we met at a great liberal hangout in the University District. They don't hang a sign or anything saying "We're All Liberal Here!". But if a MAGAt accidentally wandered into the place, he'd be running screaming for the exit in about five minutes.

Once I got home, I jumped into my bathrobe and mixed a Death in the Gulf Stream, a gin-and-lemon-juice favorite said to have been invented by Ernest Hemingway.

This old sack of bones needs to rest...

What do you think those thingies in my ears are for? So I can hear your heart and lungs. If you talk during the examination, all I'm going to hear is "BZZZ-BZZ-BZ-BZZZZZZ-BZZ-BZZZZ!"

Both of my Medical Assistants called out today. And three MA's over at the mainstream clinic.

So no back-up coming. It's just me and my MA Supervisor against the world.

We're laying down some strict parameters. No walk-ins today. And scheduled patients will be advised to stick to the one issue they came in for. No "Oh! One more thing..."
