Full circle: When I was a kid, church warned against commies and Russians.

Now, most everything available for sale in the US was made by slave labor in China, a communist country. And the Xtians are cheering Russia for hating gays, and saying nothing against extremists there who hunt and kill gays there, just as they do here.

And they dare to claim they stand for "freedom" and "patriotism."

And still, we're suppose to believe they're all about "love" and "Christian Love™," which is an oxymoron.

And they wonder why they're losing popularity contests and followers.

Insanity prevails.

There's a sordid, vile, disgusting story behind the new baby in England!

S*X!

Oh, dear, I hope I didn't blow out your delicate brain-holes by actually describing the actual, disgusting, sinful ACT that resulted in that royal baby!

Still, we must admit that, in this fallen world, S*X happens! Of course it never happened In The Garden of Eden, Baby, by I. Ron Butterfly.

Enough! We must stop this SIN from happening, else our loving God who created it will burn us all with a magnifying glass just to show his infinite Christian Love™.

Oooh, the pain! We are all Doctor Smith now!

Money out of politics tv spot

I would like to see it get wide coverage, but bet most networks wouldn't allow it.

Since Russia (whatever) is outlawing gays, how do we forget the gay porn they produced?

I mean, it wuzz hawt.

Not even talking about the photo-ops of Pooty-poot. There was some excellent stuff under that.

So will they destroy it or use it as examples?

And, they seem to be embracing the "religious" template, lately. It works well as a choking collar, just look what it did here.

Religion, no better way to enslave and divide.

Lost my best friend Tuesday.

She was a mutt, like the rest of us. Mostly Spitz. Beautiful white fur, a former stray my parents adopted maybe 8-9 years ago. She was scared of everyone at first, but finally learned to trust her family. When I moved here to help my parents, she adopted me.

A year ago this month, my mother died of Alzheimer's after declining for years and years. My father died a couple of months ago after a very long hospitalization.

Winky had once had a voracious appetite. My father fed her from the table, which is always a bad idea. While he was in the hospital, I spent either days or nights with him, and felt guilty for leaving Winks at home alone, so I cooked chicken, dog biscuits, ground beef (which she usually preferred raw), noodles, even fish fillets.

For the last couple of months she began losing her appetite as well as weight. I went back to cooking for her, but finally she just stopped eating. She began spending most of her time in her basket. Took her to the vet. Tests revealed she had cancer.

I miss her terribly.

It's been a year of lingering deaths. I hope it's finally over.

That Hitler statue--

or art installation, whatever--

I think they should put it in the lower middle of a massive urinal, where it gets pissed on day and night.

Signifying only a tiny portion of what should happen to bigots, racists, and other wastes of flesh like him. And there are plenty! But this woud be a start.

Republican "humor."

It doesn't exist.

No wonder they love Dennis Miller.

Happy New Year, east coasters!

May it be better than the last one, or the ones prior.

Wouldn't take much.

HEY! The world didn't end today!

You're welcome.

(Actually, when I went and had to wait 2 hrs. to pick up my meds, I wished everyone, "Hope you survive the holidays!"

They seemed to appreciate it.

Just watched, "A Carol for Another Christmas" on TCM

This was the first time it's been shown in almost 50 years. WOW. Very anti-war, anti-nuke, and funded by IBM at the time.

Some scenes, especially the idiot crowds, are completely relevant for repigs, invading public meetings and screaming to make sure nothing is accomplished, as well as the "ME" BS they all parrott, at the expense of everyone else in the world, "down yonder, or just across the river."

A different take on "A Christmas Carol," in that it employed the three ghosts.

I doubt any big corporatocracy would dare fund something that would be so confrontational today.

Instead, we must worship the job creators.
