Just a suggestion---especially during this crazy time, whenever you see a "new poll" cited as

"authority" for the breathless announcement that so-and-so is in the lead or that their campaign is on the rocks, please---check out the source of the poll. If you've never heard of the group before, maybe there's a reason.

Some of the "organizations" pouring gasoline on our fire are either brand spanking new ( as in, just created for up the purpose of taking a poll) or they are the latest front used by the same individual to advance their personal agenda.

Just check them out, OK.

Seriously---no snark or "blindered" comments, please---which Democrat can best

unite all factions of the party? Why?

( Note, please: I am NOT asking who would be your choice for POTUS. )

Though she is not "first pick", I believe Elizabeth Warren might be the best "uniter". Though from our "liberal wing", her serious and thoughtful approach appeals, IMHO, to a large spectrum of our party and, whether you agree with all her positions or not (i do not), I believe she passes the "good person" test. I could proudly and enthusiastically support Liz Warren.

I don't recall ever seeing so many notations of "Message auto-removed"i and "Deleted by author".

I may be wrong, but it seems to coincide with an increase in "newbies".

Gee, I wonder what's goin' on-----

Here's all you need to know about Bill Barr. He got the AG gig by winking, blowing kisses and

screaming "Pick me! Pick me" with a "For Sale" sign around his neck and he is STILL "servicing" Trump with that same enthusiasm.

Sorry, but "Bernie Bros" is the relatively BENIGN term for the vile scum-buckets to whom

it refers: those who disrupted the 2016 Convention; those who encouraged people to vote for Trump or Stein or to stay home on election day 2016; those who urged Hillary's defeat in order to "speed the revolution; and, those who threatened Clinton supporters with violence. IMHO, these folks were not, are not and never will be Democrats.

To be sure, these do not represent the majority of Sanders supporters, but the fact that some occupy positions of authority in his 2020 campaign is disturbing. It leaves one to wonder whether personal integrity is even considered when power is being delegated.

Fire away.

The good news and the bad news---(IMHO)

The good news: it looks like approximately 60% or so of next November's voters will vote against Trump.

The bad news: the 60% may be split between 4 or 5 Democrats. Most of those votes will go to our nominee; the others will be cast for others by short-sighted self-centered fools to "send a message" to those who support our nominee.

The fools will deserve 4 more years of Trump. The rest of us won't, but that is what we may get.

People who will vote for their Democrat but not yours or mine are the idiots Trump and his people are counting on.

As the primary campaigns intensify, we hear a lot of high-sounding language about "doing

what is best for the country" and "putting country before party". I have a suggestion that I believe would be good for both our nation and the Democratic Party.

It is time for several of our contenders to demonstrate their patriotism and their courage and---step aside. And, when they do, they should make it clear that they intend to work their butts off to elect the Democratic nominee, whoever that may be, and urge their supporters to do the same.

To the billionaires in the race--- if you TRULY see the prospect ofTrump's re- election as a catastrophe for our democracy---acknowledge that your wealth is an obstacle and support one of our excellent extraordinary "ordinary people" candidates.

At this point, we need a debate between three, maybe four hopefuls, not ten or so. We have more than enough juice to beat Trump, but if we continue to dilute it with competing "wings" of our party, we may need to practice our stiff arm salutes.

TESTING, 1,2,3---TESTING-----is anyone listening?

There are all manner of nasty sonsabitches---I repeat: NASTY SONSABITCHES!---whose sole purpose in life right now is to spread as much chaos and confusion as possible among members of any group that just might not vote for Emperor Trump.

They lie. They exaggerate. They slander. And, they do all this while "camoflaged" as a public interest PAC, a red white and blue patriotic group or just some "concerned citizen". Often, the public interest PAC is a "front" for a handful of wingnuts funded by a billionaire; the patriotic group is simply posting propaganda from Moscow; and, the "concerned citizen" is either a domestic neo-nazi or a Russian troll-bot.

So---I know it is a simplistic and perhaps unprecedented request but, for the time being, can we cut EVERY Democrat some slack? Can we just give each of them the benefit of the doubt?

No matter who is your favorite among the leading contenders, there are currently ridiculous lies being seeded into the public discourse about them.

We are fortunate to have numerous outstanding people seeking the Democratic presidential nomination. Each has their strengths and weaknesses, but these are GOOD PEOPLE---far superior to the cheap vulgar thug now squatting in the White House! So could we please just tell the goddam 24 hour news cycle talkers to STUFF all this "OMG! BREAKING NEWS! DEMS ARE HOPELESSLY FRACTURED" bullshit?

This is a "Not Trump!" election. REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!
