a broad background, so I'd expect her to handle herself very professionally.

A meeting for all those "shocked" by the above will be held as soon as one of those old phone booths can be reserved.
In as civil a manner as I can manage, let me ask a "naive" question: why is
Russia still on the UN Security Council? For that matter, why are they in the UN? As the Ukrainian rep asked "Who voted to admit RUSSIA? The answer, I believe, is "no one".
Why have we not taken whatever steps are necessary to bring this issue to a vote of the entire assembly?
Russia's participation in world "security" issues is transparently ridiculous and must have people in all nations shaking their heads in disbelief.
Since I had parents who made sure I had a conscience and I also have an often used sense of shame,
I am embarrassed that my country, the United States of America, is home to literally millions of proudly ignorant moral pygmies who believe that traditional national values and patriotism are merely quaint vestiges of the totally irrelevant pre-Trump era.
Having been encouraged to be hostile to any without a MAGA cap who are unwilling to sacrifice truth and common sense on Trump's altar, their sole purpose in life seems to be gaining his approval. In furtherance of that, they are willing to be reliable bobbleheads no matter what vile and disgusting word salad he bleats and they have practiced swooning just in case he smiles in their direction at one of his "WORSHIP ME!" rallies.
These are not good people. They were not born selfish racist bullies but somehow, even though they grew up in our nation, attended our schools and had access to more factual information than any prior generation, that is who they are and all they aspire to ever be. And, even though I can't see how I am responsible for their mean-spirited shamelessness, I find myself feeling ashamed FOR them.
What happened to these people? Has our tolerance of intolerance eradicated all the boundaries between good and evil, truth and falsehood, honesty and deceit? Is nihilism now the philosophical foundation motivating the loudest of our political speech?
The fact that Republican oratory on TV can make me feel shame in the privacy of my home has led to another emotion: anger. I should not have to endure their regular assaults on my senses with their despicable nonsense.
This will not end well.

I actually thought that when you turned your back on the Biden cabinet members as they entered the chamber at tonight's State of the Union address, that was as good as it was likely to get. But, no! You had only just begun!
As the evening progressed, your behavior provided a vivid depiction of what your party is now all about. Most would agree that your heckling and shouting over President Biden as he spoke of his deceased son was the clearest example of the total lack of decency and class which now characterize what it means to be a "Republican".

Maybe it really is just me, but it does bother me when political commentators, for whatever reason,
smile or even LAUGH while telling us about the latest outrageous thing some Trump cultist said or did.
I just listened to such good-natured laughter after hearing Nick Fuentes, the white-supremacist Amerca First "Grand Wizard" ( or whatever ) rouse his crowd to "give Putin a hand" while applauding.
This crap isn't funny. It isn't silly. It is anti-American praise for a Russian mass murderer.
My reaction?
Do me a favor Nick: say that while standing within arm's reach. I won't laugh at you.

not to slaughter civilians.
Sorry for the "visuals" this may trigger, but it sure is great to have a POTUS who
isn't a dick-waver.
I have no problem with "Only God can judge Putin" as long as we understand it is
up to us to arrange the meeting.
